*Ruby's POV*

I place the last hoodie into my suitcase. I sight after zipping it up. I am going with Tobias's mustang. I won't take mom's car now. I wonder why would he leave me the only thing left for him from his mother? I take the suitcase and head downstairs, to find everyone there to say goodbye. I hug mon tightly after putting the suit case into the full trunk. "I will miss you, baby girl." Mom says as we pulls from the hug. There are tears in her eyes. I hug dad afterwards. "Sure you don't want us to drive you there?" Dad asks softly. "I will be fine, dad." I say smiling as I walk up to Louisa. "FaceTime everyday?" She says. I nod as we hug smiling. "I will definitely see you in holidays , you get that?" Ash says. I chuckle as I hug Albert. "See you in a week." I say to both him and Amelia. I get into the car. It is just the same. I smile as I remember all the memories we made in here. I hold on to the stirring wheel. I turn on the engine just like old times. I drive off as I watch both my family and my friends wave at me.

"Thank you." I say to the man who helped me move my stuff into my tiny apartment. It is an apartment my parents rented for me until I get a work to rent it myself. I look at New York's view as I walk into the balcony. The chill summer breeze tickles my face sending my hair behind my neck. I walk back to the living room that's filled up with boxes. I sight as I start to unpack.

I am laying in bed. I have finally finished unpacking all my stuff. I hear my phone ring from beside me. I put my laptop aside and I pick my phone up. I hit the green icon to answer the call. "Hello?" I say into the phone. "Ruby?" I hear his sweet voice. I get up to sit straight in a total surprise that I might even hear his voice again. "Tobias?" I say. "Hey." He says. "Hi, how are you? Did you get my letter?" I say. Why did I mention it? Stupid. "Yeah. I need you to not search for me, Ruby." He says which wipes my smile. "I can't let you do this. You have your whole life ahead of you." He continues. "Just move on, Ruby. I was just a fling anyways." He says. "No, you weren't!" I say firmly. "I love you, Tobias. I really do." I say. "Please don't say that." He says. His voice is sad and broken. Why is he doing this even though it hurts him that much? "Good bye, Ruby." He says as he hangs up, leaving me all sad in my bed. Alone.
