*Tobias's POV*

She walks away. I sight as I look at the keys she left on my nightstand. My mustang keys. I turn to walk into the bathroom. I take a quick shower. I put on the black suit pants along with the white shirt. I leave the room. I go downstairs. I find her gone. Her friend Lily is gone as well. Alissa is sitting in the living room with Elite. I walk to them. "Hey." Elite says as she walks up to me. She's wearing jeans shorts along with a yellow crop top. "Ready?" She asks as we walk outside to her father's car. Ready? I am absolutely not. I just want to run back to her house. Throw myself into her arms. I just want her to hold me. Or maybe hold her back. I want to stroke her orange red hair with my hands. I am not ready to leave. I am not ready to leave her. Her father drops us off at a bus station. "I will see you back home, Woods". Her father says as he leaves us in the bus station. "You okay?" I hear her ask. I nod silently. We walk into the bus. I am glad she didn't push it. I sight as the bus starts to leave California.

"Tobias." Her mother. Maria throws her arms around my neck and pulls me into a tight hug. She always called me Tobias as well. It doesn't really matter anymore. Elite shows me to a room. It is a spare room. "This is where you can stay." She says as she sits on the bed. "Thanks." I say as sit next to her. "I am so sorry you had to leave her, Tobias." She says as she gives my shoulder a soft squeeze. I have to let go now. I have to let go off my past. My mother, my bad childhood. And Ruby Clark.

Two weeks later*

"I got accepted, Mama Papa." Elite says as she hugs her mother. She just opened the letter she got from the university she applied to. It is in New York. She got accepted to Harvard. She will study law. I am not really planing on going to college at all. Even though the Benne family offered to help me with the payment. I refused. I really don't want to. I would just work and save up. I might even open a shop. I don't really know what kind of a shop it will be. But, having to think about it is enough. She sits next to me with a wide smile. "This is so cool, Tobias." She says as she hugs me. I hug her back. She pulls back and starts to jump happily again. I watch her wondering if Ruby got accepted to the college she wanted as well.
