She walks away from me. Again! I have been officially ignored twice in one day by the same girl. "Man, this girl is totally driving you mad." Shane says as we walk to our second class. "You think I can't get her?!" I say as we stop in front of my English class. "I didn't say that. But, she is hard tho." He says as he smirks. I roll my eyes at him. "No girl is hard on me. I bet you I will get her in bed like two days from now." I say in such a confidence. She was really getting on my nerves. Ignoring me this way. It is so annoying. "Deal, bro. Tell me if it's good, okay? See you at lunch." He says as he turns to walk to his history class. I enter the class. The teacher starts talking like always. I just can't stop thinking about Clark. Maybe Shane was right. Maybe she is actually driving me mad. No girl has ever drove me mad before or ignored me or roll her eyes at me. Something about Clark is different than those other stupid girls.

I walk into the cafeteria. I sit at the team's table. They are all eating and chatting about either girls or football. I look around the cafeteria. My eyes land on her. Sitting with Ash. Ash Montoro. The school's laughing Bitch. He has no friends. No siblings. Just a stupid gay guy with no one. And he is sitting and laughing with Clark. Her laugh is nice actually. More like beautiful. What the hell is wrong with me?! I never liked a girl's laugh. I always like a girl's body. "What are you looking at, Woods?" Shane asks me to snap me from my thoughts. "She is sitting with the gay boy. Damn! She preferred him over you bro." Shane says. She did?! I stand up. "Bro! Where you going?" I hear Shane say as I start walking to there table. "Hey there gay sweetie!" I say as I slam my hand to there table. I notice Clark jumping from the sound. He ignores me and looks back at his food. I was never the bully kind. But, I am angry. Super angry. "Are those the kind you prefer, Clark? Gay guys?!" I shout. All the cafeteria goes silent. She stands up to face me. "Apologize right now! Or you will regret it!" She says. She looks angry. "Leave it, Ruby. Let's go." Ash says as he stands up to leave. So her first name is Ruby. It is cool. "No, Ash! He insulted you! So he has to apologize." She says angrily. The whole cafeteria is looking at us now. I think about kissing her to prove Shane wrong. "I don't apologize to gay bitches." I say into her face. "Let's go, Ruby. Please." Ash says. He is looking at the floor. She listens to him. She grabs her bag and turns to walk away. "Yeah, walk away with your gay girlfriend, Clark!" I shout. The whole cafeteria bursts into laughing. She turns back and walks up to me. I feel her hand as it slams to my face. "You're an asshole!" She says as she walks away. The cafeteria has gone quite. My cheeks hurt. A lot actually. She is strong. I go to the nurse after lunch and grab a bag of ice. My next class is Math. I walk into the class. Everyone looks at me. I am holding the bag of ice to my slapped cheek. I see her sitting at the middle of the class. She is writing something. I walk and take a desk away from her. I still can watch her. She seems so concentrating in whatever she is writing. A couple of hairs of her red hair is on her face. The teacher enters as she looks up to him. She closes the notebook and slides it into her bag. It is a small yellow notebook. With sunflowers drawn on it. I really don't like the fact that I am watching her right now. She just slapped me. In front of the whole school. My reputation is ruined. I am now not the hot Woods who plays football and gets all the girls. I am now Woods who got his ass kicked by the new girl he couldn't get. Ruby Clark.
