Zaki quietly walked the halls of the empty Kursiragi High, sighing softly. Her short hair was tied into a very small ponytail. Her bright blue eyes looked around the empty halls. "So quiet...."

When she turned a corner, she ran into one of the bullies around the school. He growled and glared down at her. "Hey, watch it!" He shouted. She backed up a bit. "Look, I'm sorry! I have to go home!"

Next thing she knew, she felt his knuckles slam into her cheek. She let out a cry of pain and fell to the floor. Her backpack fell off her shoulders and down the hall. The boy started punching and kicking at her, making her cry and shake. Eventually, he picked her up and shoved her against the wall, blood trickling down her chin and tears running down her face.

He pulled out a switchblade and cut her cheek open. She cried. "Please, I'm sorry! I just want to go home!" He then pointed it at her eye.

"Shut up you ass!"

"Please stop!" She cried out, when he pulled the switchblade back, about to shove it into her eye, when he stopped and inspected her. "What the hell?" He muttered, dropping her to the floor.

She sobbed and tried to get up, shaking and holding her cheek. She looked up at him, absolutely terrified. He put the switchblade away and stared down at her, backing up a bit.

"You're a girl?..."
