The flood waters receded as fast as it had risen. But leaving behind a huge mess. Logs, sticks, trash and even dead fish littered the yard.

Tim and Austin get busy cleaning up the yard. Piling everything into a pile to burn once it gets dry enough.

"Tim? I'm going over to Chris's to see what's going on. I won't be gone long. I'll help when I get back." Adam says as he heads toward Tim's truck.

"Okay. Be careful." Tim says. "We don't know how bad the roads are."

"I will." Adam says as he pulls out of the driveway.

"What do you think is going on?" Austin asks as he bends over to pick up a plastic back that had washed up.

"I don't have a clue." Tim answers. "Adam said he sounded upset about something."

"Maybe he was just panicking about the flood waters." Olena says as she sat on the porch with Bailey. "Nothing like this has happened since he and Adam have been here."

"Well, I think he could have talked to Adam on the phone about that." Tim says as he throws an arm full of branches into the pile.

"Maybe Jenika is pregnant." Sami says.

"Naw, I think if she was they would have come over here and announced it in person." Tim says. "Something tells me that whatever it is, it's not good."

The temperature quickly rose and the humidity was a killer. Tim and Austin take a break and join Olena, Bailey and Sami on the porch for something cold to drink. A few minutes later, Adam drives up. Getting out of the truck, he slams the door and quickly walks toward the house.

Tim and Austin exchange worried glances as Adam stomps upon the porch.

"Babe? Is something......" Tim starts but Adam jerks the door open and walks inside slamming the door behind him. He didn't even acknowledge that they were sitting there. Tim lets go of a heavy breath as he starts to stand just as they hear the bedroom door slam. "I'll go see what's going on. Y'all stay here."

Tim cautiously walk inside the house and to their bedroom.

"Adam?" He calls out softly as he taps on the door. When he does not receive an answer, he slowly opens the door.

He stands in shock as he watches his husband throw clothes into a suitcase.

"Adam, what's ...what's going on?" Tim asks as he slowly walks into the room.

"I'm going to Minnesota." Adam says as he grabs some boxers and socks from their dresser.

"Minnesota? But why?" Tim asks as he watches Adam rush around their bedroom.

"I don't have time to explain, Tim." Adam says with aggravation. "Chris is on his way to get me."

"You'll take the time!!" Tim says as he grabs his husband's arm and turns him to face him. "Are you leaving me? What ... What have I done? Tell me."

Adam realizes that he was taking his irritation with Chris out on his lover.

"What? No. Sweetheart, I'm not leaving you." Adam says as he gently rubs his thumb across his husband's cheek. "I would never do that. You are my life."

"Then why are you going back to Minnesota?" Tim asks.

"Honey, it's just for a few days. Chris is moving back." Adam says with a heavy sigh as he sits down on the bed.

"Moving? But why?" Tim asks as he sits down next to him.

"He and Jenika broke up. I knew it was just a matter of time before he screwed things up." Adam says as he shakes his head.

"I don't understand." Tim says.

"He's dated other girls in Mankato but he would get so jealous of anyone they talk to that it never lasted too long." Adam says as he plays with his fingers.

"So are you saying that he was jealous of me and Austin?" Tim asks.

"Yeah. And Chance." Adam says with a nod.

"But Jenika is like a sister to me and Austin." Tim says with a confused look.

"Honey, it doesn't matter. You guys are good looking and truthfully, he didn't want Jenika to have anything to do with Y'all." Adam explains.

"Okay? But that's between them. Why do you have to leave?" Tim asks as he takes his husband's hand.

"Actually..." Adam clears his throat. "He was asking me to move back with him."

"WHAT!!??" Tim shouts.

"Calm down. I told him my life was here with you. This is where I want to be. But I did agree to go and help him get settled. Okay?" Adam smiles as he brushes back Tim's hair. "It'll only be a couple of days. I promise."

"I'm so pissed right now. Not at you but at Chris." Tim says, shaking his head. "I can't believe he would even try to talk you into leaving."

"That's why I was so short with you. I was very irritated at him and I guess I took it out on you. I'm sorry." Adam says as he kisses Tim's hand. "I need to finish packing. He'll be here soon."

Tim nods and stands from the bed and walks slowly toward the bedroom door.

"I love you, Adam." Tim says as he stops at the door.

"I know you do, Swamprat." Adam smiles. "And I love you."

Tim walks out on the porch and stops as he sees Chris pull into the driveway.

"Did you find out anything?" Austin asks quietly.

Tim holds up his hand to silence his little brother as Chris gets out of the car.

"Hey, Tim." Chris says as he walks onto the porch.

"You have a lot of f*cking nerve." Tim growls as he glares at his brother-in-law.

"Tim, I'm sorry." Chris hangs his head and steps around Tim to go inside but Tim catches him by the arm.

"Save your 'sorry' for someone who cares. Let me tell you something, Christopher. If Adam ain't back home in three days, I WILL come looking for him and you had BEST stay out of my way." Tim warns. "Just because you f*cked up your life don't mean that you can f*ck up mine and Adam's. I want to say a lot more but for Adam's sake, I won't."

"Tim? What the hell?" Austin scolds.

"Adam will be out in a minute. You can wait in the car." Tim says as he still glares at Chris.

"What the hell happened?" Sami asks Olena in a whisper as Chris walks back out to the car.

"I don't know but Tim is pissed off about something." Olena whispers.

"Hey." Adam says softly as he walks out and slides his arms around his husband's waist. "I heard what you said. It's going to take time to drive to Minnesota so don't start your count until I call you to let you know I'm there." Adam smiles as he kisses Tim's shoulder.

Tim turns around in Adam's arms and leans in to kiss him.

"Austin, watch out for him while I'm gone." Adam says as he smiles at his husband.

"Gone? Will somebody please tell me what the hell is going on?" Austin asks.

"Tim will explain everything." Adam says before pulling Tim into a hug.

"Come home to me, Yankee." Tim whispers.

"I will, Sweetie." Adam says. "I love you."

Tim watches as Adam walks toward the car.

"Adam, wait." Tim calls as he runs down the steps.

"What?" Adam asks as he turns around.

He's met with a passionate kiss from his husband. Adam drops his suitcase and wraps his arms around Tim's neck.

"Wow." Was all Adam could say as they break the kiss.

"There's more waiting when you come home." Tim smiles.
