 Manik and Nandini were continuously laughing.

Abhi(sighed in frustration): Guys, someone might have spiked their drank accidentally. I think it's safe to make them sleep than partying here.

Cabir(eagerly): I agree. Jaldi jaldi sulao inhe.

Abhi(suspiciously): Tujhe itni jaldi kyun hai. Did you do anything?

Cabir(angrily): Tu hamesha mujhe hi kyun blame karta hai. Teri girlfriend bhi aayi thi mere saath.

Listening to Cabir, Mukti went and hid in Abhimanyu's chest.

Mukti(muttered): Abhi, maine kuch nahi kiya.

He pecked her hair and caressed it.

Abhi(glared): Cabir, stop blaming my girl.

Cabir(muttered): Aaj pata chal gaya. Pyar kitna andha hota hai. Navya...

Navya(coolly): what?

Cabir(disheartened): Arey tum mujhse pyar hi nahi karti. Tum kya mujhe support karogi. Koi hai jo mujhe support karega.

Manik(excitedly raised his hand): Cabir. Bhai. Main hoon na.

Nandu(pulling him beside her): Manik, tum nahi ho.

Manik(frowned): But, main idhar hi hoon na.

Nandu(raising an eyebrow): Manik, agar tum mere saath rehte ho toh Cabir ke saath kaise rahoge.

Manik(grinned): As always you are right, Nandu.

Cabir(frowned in confusion): Hein? Yeh kya logic hua?

Manik(sternly): Shut up, Cabir. My Nandu is always right.

He hugs her to which she grins.

Arya(explained): Cabir, I think it's better if we don't argue with them. They don't seem like they are in their senses.

Dhruv(softly): I agree. Manik, room chalo.

Nandu(glared): Tum mere Manik ko kyu bula rahe ho? Tumhari baby tumse baat nahi kar rahi kya?

Alya(lovingly): Nandu see, it's too late. Let's sleep for today. We can talk tomorrow.

Nandu(puzzled): Late hua kya? Kitna time hua?

Navya(caressing her hair): Nandu, listen you are a good girl, right? Ache se so jao. See, Manik ko bhi neend aa rahi hai.

Nandu looks at Navya first and then at Manik.

Nandu(grinning): No. Tum mujhse jhoot bol rahi ho. Manik ko neend nahi aa rahi.

Navya(bewildered): How do you know?

Nandu(declared): Kyuki he is my best friend. Mujhe pata chalta hai.

Cabir(nodding his head in disbelief): By God. Iske bahut ghatiya logics hai.

Nandu wailed loudly. Manik hugged her tight and glared Cabir.

Manik(cooed): Nandu, don't cry. Cabir ke logics hi ghatiya hai.

Cabir(glared): Arey waah. Hosh mein nahi hai lekin phir bhi monster glare karna nahi choda.

Manik(ignoring him): You are a good girl, haina? Agar tum rona bandh karogi na toh..toh we will play with Cabir.

Cabir(frightened): Tum dono mere saath nahi, mujhe ball banakar kheloge. No need.

Abhi(scowled): Cabir, yeh sab tujhe apna muh kholne se pehle sochna chahiye.

Navya(helplessly): Abhimanyu, iska pata hai na. Please tum sambhalo na, Nandu ko. Yeh aaj tumhari baat hi manegi shayad.

Abhi(raising an eyebrow): aur Manik?

Dhruv(stated): Arey, Nandu ke peeche Manik bhi aa jayega.

Abhi(unsure): Okay. Let me try.

Abhimanyu goes towards Nandu who is now sitting on the floor along with Manik and playing with his fingers.

Abhi(softly): Nandu?

Nandu(screamed excitedly): Abhimanyuuuuuuuuu bhaiiiiiiiiiiiii

Abhi(ruffling her hair): Haan Nandu. Main tumhara bhai hun na. Mere liye tum ek baat manogi?

Nandu(thinking hard): kya aap mere liye chocolates le aaoge?

Abhi(agreeing): Of course, babydoll.

Nandu(pouts): Aur mere Manik ke liye.

Abhi(assured): Dono ke liye kal subah lekar aayunga. Ok?

Nandu(demanded): Lekin mujhe abhi isi waqt chahiye.

Abhi(pretended to be extremely scared): Nandu, babydoll. Dekho na kitna andhera ho gaya hai. Mujhe na bahut darr lag raha hai. Do you wish your new found brother to get lost in this darkness?

Cabir(muttered): Isne bhi pee liya kya?

Mukti, Navya(whisper yelled): Cabir, Shut up.

Nandu(proudly): Abhimanyu, tumhe darr lag raha hai kya? Tum na Manik ka haath pakad lo. Sach mein, Manik na apne magic se har problem dur kar deta hai. Use kisi se darr bhi nahi lagta.

Abhi(patting her head lovingly): Of course, babydoll. I will hold Manik's hand. Tum bhi aise hi pakadti ho na jab tumhe darr lagta hai?

Nandu(with a spark in her eyes): yes. Manik hamesha mujhe bacha leta hai.

Abhi(smiled widely): I know babydoll. Manik is your rockstar, haina?

Nandu grins but then frowns.

Nandu: But Manik kahan hai? Why is he so silent?

She turns towards him and finds him staring at his hand.

Nandu(poking him): Manik, tu kya soch raha hai?

Manik(sadly): Nandu, look at my hand. Mere sare fingers ek height ke nahi hai.

Nandu(giggles): Arey buddhu. Mere bhi nahi hai na. Isiliye tere bhi nahi hai.

Manik(smiles): Tu kitni genius hai, Nandu.

Aryaman(patting her head): ok Nandu. Let's go to sleep now?

Nandu(grinned): Ohk.

Aryaman(hopefully): Manik, let's go to sleep.

Manik(crossing his hands over his chest): Nahi. Main nahi aa raha.

Abhi(pointing towards Nandu): Manik look, Nandu bhi sone ja rahi hai.

Manik(excitedly): Is it? Nandu, wait. Main bhi aa raha hun tere saath.

Sighing in relief, they move towards Nandu's room when she stops.

Nandu(whined): Nahi. Mujhe Manik ke saath sona hai.

Manik(declared): Main bhi Nandu ke bina nahi so raha.

Abhi(tiredly): ok guys, Manik ke room mein hi so jana.

Abhimanyu makes them sleep and closes the door after switching off the light. Being tired of the drama, they all leave for their respective room to sleep.

Manik's room

A few minutes later,

Manik felt someone poking him. He opens his eyes and finds Nandu there.

Manik(shocked): Nandini, tu soyi nahi?

Nandu(whispered): Manik, tujhe ek secret bataun? I was pretending to sleep.

Manik(whispered back): Main bhi ek secret bataun? Main bhi na sone ki acting kar raha tha.

They both giggle.

Nandu(ordered): Manik, shh. Koi sun lega.

Manik(thinking hard): But, Nandu. Yahan hum dono hi hai na. Aur door bhi closed hai.

Nandu(patting his shoulder): Hmm..true. Tu aaj kal intelligent ho raha. But Manik, I am bored.

Manik(cupping her cheek): close your eyes. Let me give you a solution for your boredom.

Nandu grins and closes her eyes.

Nandu(flapping her hands in the air): Manik, I am feeling like flying.

Manik(grinned): Because, main tujhe uda raha hoon, Nandu.

Nandu giggles.

Manik(excitedly): Open your eyes, Nandu.

Opening her eyes, Nandu finds herself in the balcony, on the swing and a grinning Manik beside her.

Nandu(frowned): where's your magic?

Manik(smiled): look above, Nandu.

Nandu hugs his hand and they both stare the stars with a sweet smile playing on their lips.

Nandu(upset): Manik, mere parents mujhe chod kar chale gaye.

Manik(pecking her hair): Mere bhi chale gaye na, Nandu. Main hoon na tere saath. Tu sad mat ho.

Nandu(happily): Manik, see that star is so bright. Yeh tu hai.

Manik(puzzled): Main kyun?

Nandu(declared): kyunki you always shine for me. Aur tere side mein jo star hai, that's me.

Manik(hopefully): tu bhi hamesha uss star ki tarah mere side rahegi na.

Nandu(assured): Haan. Aur tere us side dekh, ek aur star hai. Chotu sa dim sa.

Manik(chuckled): Yeh star kaun hai?

Nandu(fuming): That's the cruel Cabir.

Manik(bewildered): Nandu, Cabir is not cruel.

Nandu(disappointedly): Manik, Cabir na hamesha tumhe mujhse cheen leta hai. Hamesha tumhare saath chipakta rehta hai.

Manik(hugging her): Is it? Kal na hum bol denge Cabir se, that you are the only star that will stay beside me.

Nandu(dragging him): Manik, kal tak bhul jayenge. Come, let's go now.
