Next day

Nandu woke up early in the morning as she couldn't sleep anymore. After freshening up she went to her terrace, waiting for the sun to rise. One look at the opposite building, she saw someone sitting there, only the head of the person visible. Manik is not an early riser. Frowning, she went there to clear her doubts. Reaching there, she found Aryaman sitting with his eyes closed and hands clasped on his lap. She went and sat in front of him and waited for him to open his eyes.

After few minutes,

Aryaman got startled by the presence of a figure before and his hand involuntarily went towards his chest. Nandu rather flashed her teeth, grinning at her achievement of scaring him.

Arya(scared): You scared me.

Nandu(grinned): I won.

Arya glared her.

Nandu(confused): What are you doing here so early in the morning?

Arya(informed): Meditation.

Nandu(teased): What? Why? Are you that old?

Arya(stated): Nandu, that's part of our daily routine. This is a process of drawing energy from our surroundings into us. I was caught up in this new environment and couldn't concentrate but now I am sort of settled here. So, back to routine.

Nandu(dramatically): Oh. Wait. That means you are drawing energy from surroundings. You thief. You are snatching away my energy without my permission. How will I survive the whole day?

Arya(disbelievingly): I don't know how Manik handles you. (Earning a glare from her, he continues) We draw energy from nature.

Nandu(sheepishly): Oh. It's ok then. Though I didn't understand how.

She gives him a sheepish grin. Their attention was diverted by the sunrise and they watch it silently.

Nandu: How is the sunrise on Mars?

Arya(smiled): Unlike Earth, sunrise and sunsets are blue in color due to the presence of dust particles. They absorb the sunlight and scatter blue. It's more like the afternoon sky on Earth.

Nandu(excited): Really? That sounds amazing. I want to see it.

Arya chuckles.

Arya(teased): Well, you can visit Mars. I will treat you nice and won't scare you at the first meet.

Nandu glares him. They were disturbed by Manik's voice.

Manik(shouted): What the hell are you both doing here.

They turned and found Manik huffing.

Nandu(amused): Don't tell me tum subah uthkar jogging gaye the?

Manik(fake glared): Tum dono ke saath rahunga toh vo bhi karne lagunga shayad.

He glares both of them before sitting beside Nandu. Nandu pulled his cheeks irritating him more.

Nandu: Aww..baby kya hua?

Manik(concerned): Nandu, stop pulling my cheeks. I didn't see Aryaman in the room, I was worried. Main pure ghar mein dhund raha tha. And you were chatting here.

Nandu(fake cried): Matlab tum uske liye worried the? What about me? Mujhe bhul gaye?

Manik(annoyed): Nandu yaar, how would I expect you here? Tujhe main tere room expect karunga na?

Nandu(grinned): Tera vo best friend wala gps ka kya? Koi connection nahi hai?

Manik(sarcastically): breakfast kiya?

Nandu: nahi.

Manik: good. Chal khate hai. Mera dimag mat kha.

Nandu glares him and leaves from there. After getting ready and having breakfast, they leave for their college.

College

In a rare event, everyone is on time for the Hitler's class(Maths prof). Cabir and Aryaman sat on the last seat while Manik and Nandu were before them. Hitler entered the class with some papers in his hand and was staring at Nandu from the time he came. Aryaman frowned looking at this.

Prof(eying mostly Nandini): I can see everyone is on time today. There's an announcement. Due to some calendar holidays and some issues going on in college, you will be having a month's holidays.

Everyone hooted.

Prof(smirked): That's not all. As you can see some papers here. These are assignment sheets which you have to do in the next one hour. I can ask anyone to come and solve it on board, if you fail to do it, your holidays will be cancelled and you will attend compensation classes for the next month. So, all the very best. Meanwhile, I have a meeting to attend.

He looks at Nandu with an evil smile and distributes the papers to everyone and leaves the class. They see that every question in the sheet is easy except the last one. They start solving it while Aryaman was lost in his thoughts which was noticed by Cabir.

Cabir(questioned): Bhai, all ok?

Arya(lost in thoughts): Something's wrong Cabir.

Cabir(blabbered): Are you not getting these questions? Kuch help chahiye? You can ask me. Main born intelligent hun lekin kabhi ghamand nahi kiya.

He gives Cabir a glare and calls Nandu.

Arya: Nandu, can you answer all these questions?

Nandu(frowned): yes, everything but the last one. It can be solved but it will take a lot of time.

Cabir(with fake tears): I pray mujhe last wale par na bulaye. Holidays mein bhi college aana padega. Aur tum sab mere bina sare masti karoge aur mera khana kha jaoge.

Manik and Nandu nod their heads in disbelief while Aryaman gapes him before giving him a hug.

Arya(grinning widely): Cabir, you are a genius.

Cabir(smiled confusedly): hein? I don't know why but thanks for the compliment.

Arya: Ok. Concentrate on the paper.

He looks at the last question and solves it in few minutes before calling Nandu again.

Nandu(irritated): Kya hai Arya.

Arya: Give me your notes.

Nandu(still solving the questions): See, sare questions easy hai except last one jo mujhe bhi nahi aata.

Arya: Nandu, stop blabbering and give. Here's the solution.

Nandu gives him her notes and goes through his and stares at that in awe.

Nandu(surprised): How did you do this?

Arya: The usual method, in this case, will be lengthy and time-consuming. There's a trick in this.

He explains her the method and asks her to copy his answer which she does.

Cabir(cribbed): Mujhe bhi batao. Mujhe kuch samjh nahi aaya.

Manik(sarcastically): You were born intelligent, Cabir. Khud karle.

Cabir(accused): tum dost nahi dushman ho. Aryaman, mujhe bhi copy karne do.

Arya: Cabir, let Nandu understand this first.

Cabir(raising his eyebrow): Kyun? Vo itni special kyun hai?

Arya(whisper yelled): Cabir, shut up.

Aryaman gets busy in explaining Nandu properly while Cabir struggles with the questions. Manik finds it suspicious but tries to solve his questions. When they were done, the prof comes back and calls some random students for solving. When it's only the last one left, he smirks at Nandu which was noticed by Aryaman and Manik.

Prof(smirked): The last question will be solved by Ms. Murthy. If you couldn't, you have to stay in college.

Everything becomes crystal clear for Aryaman and he sighs in relief while Manik and Cabir were suspicious. Nandu was surprised. Looking at Aryaman, she went to the board while he smiled at her.

Nandu took a deep breath and solved the question within minutes shocking the prof. He gaped at her and the board for few minutes before questioning her.

Prof: How did you solve this?

Nandu(arrogantly): Sir, agar aap nahi padha rahe toh iska matlab ye nahi hai ki hume nahi aata.

The prof. was fuming and was all ready to lash out at Nandu when they were interrupted by Manik's shout. He turned towards Manik.

Prof.: What?

Manik(innocently): Sir, I didn't understand anything from the 2nd line. Could you please explain again.

Prof. nods and starts explaining. By the time he completed, it was time to go and he left the class after glaring Nandini. She went towards her friends huffing in anger and sat beside Manik with a thud making her friends surround her.

Mukti(proudly): Babydoll, how did you even solve that one.

Cabir(fake annoyance): Isne kahan kiya, Aryaman ne bataya tha use 'specially'.

Abhi(stunned): Bro, you are a real genius.

Cabir: Toh main fake genius hun?

Navya(teased): Tum aur genius? Dur dur tak koi rishta nahi hai.

Soha: At Least Cabir is honest, Navya.

Cabir(smiled): Thank you, Soha.

Dhruv: Cabir and honest?

Soha(scowled): He didn't copy from anyone, Dhruv.

Nandu(shouted): SHUT UP.

Manik(screamed): You shut up. Is this the way you talk to a prof? Agar usne kuch kiya ho toh? Abhi bhi gussa hokar chala gaya. I hope he doesn't do anything.

Aryaman: But Manik, he was clearly trying to trap Nandu.

Manik(glared): Stop supporting her Aryaman. Don't you know our principal believes whatever he says? Bachi nahi hai vo. She should think before shouting on him.

Nandu gets angry and walks out of her class with her bag. 

Nandu gussa ho gayi. Ab kya hoga? Jhagda hoga kya inka ab? Socho socho.
