Hello People. Thanks to everyone for your comments on the last chapter. I didn't get a single comment who wants Soha to be evil. So, I think my readers and I are on the same page. I don't have to change whatever I have written. Soha will be brainless. 😜😜

They enter the house only to be welcomed by Soha. As soon as she saw them, especially Manik coming, she went and cling to him, making him frown.

Manik: Soha, we are at home. Leave me. It won't look good if my parents see someone clinging on to me.

Soha: Manik we know each other since years na. Uncle-Aunty kuch nahi sochenge. Waise bhi they have seen Nandu clinging to you since you were born.

Manik became furious seeing Soha comparing herself with Nandu. But before he could lash out at her, Nandu interrupted.

Nandu: Actually Soha, we just came from outside na. See, Manik ka skin tan ho raha. Tum touch karogi na, tumhara bhi skin tan ho jayega.

Listening to what Nandu said, Soha removed her hands off Manik immediately. But Aryaman was confused and was about to say something when Manik signaled him to shut up.

Soha: Is it? Thanks a lot, Nandini. Let me wash my hands and come. As soon as she leaves, Aryaman questions.

Arya: Nandu, does tanning spread through contact on Earth?

Manik: Aryaman until the time you are here, please ignore Soha. No higher intelligence can understand her. Only Nandu can handle that girl, I don't know how.

Before she continues, Manik stops her and puts his hand around her shoulders.

And she leaves from there.

Arya: Barbie doll?

Manik: my mom. Mom is her Barbie doll and she is mom's baby girl. Come, let's freshen up, then I will introduce you to my parents.

They get freshen up and go to the living room where Nandu is lying down with her head on Nyonika's lap and ranting all the things that have happened during their absence and Raj sitting at the side listening to her. Manik goes there along with Arya.

Manik: (to Nandu) aate hi shuru ho gayi Nandu. Let them at least rest yaar.

Nandu: Don't be jealous Malhotra.

Manik: Jealous and me? Listen, I am not even talking to you. By the way, Dad meet Aryaman. Aryaman, my dad, and mom. He is staying with us till he is studying here. I hope it's fine with you.

Raj: Nice to meet you Aryaman. Since you are staying here let me give you a friendly advice. Beware of these two idiots. They can make you mad.

Nandu winked at Manik and continued,

Nandu: Ironically, un idiots ka naam Manik and Nandini hai, jo shayad aapne hi rakha hai.

Manik: Aur Hum kisi ko tang nahi karte.

Nandu: I never knew you hate me this much.

Manik: Mujhe tho ye doubt ho raha hai ki am I your adopted son? Kabhi bhi mujhe pyaar hi nahi karte ho.

Nandu: barbie doll mujh inse baat bhi nahi karni.

Manik: Mom mujhe bhi nahi.

They start with their drama without giving Raj any chance to speak. They were stopped by Nandu's parents who just entered.

Raman: kya chal raha hai bacho?

Seeing them, Nandu runs to Raman while Manik goes and side hugs Ishitha.

Raman: tu na rehen de. Ghar bhi nahi aayi milne. Aate hi yaha kya drama kar rahe ho dono.

Nandu: papa, dekho na inhe lagta hai ki we trouble people.

Raj: Ab bas bhi kar Nandu. Tu bhi is gadhe ke saath milkar mera mazak uda rahi hai?

Soha: Kyunki she is best in that.

Nandu(mutters): aagayi Asian Paints kahi ki.

Nandu stops Manik before saying anything.

Soha: what Asian Paints?

Nandu: vo actually I was asking dad to paint the walls with Asian Paints.

Soha: oh ok.

Raman: By the way Manik, who is this new guy?

Manik: Dad, he is Aryaman. My friend. Aryaman, Nandu's parents.

Soha: Aww he is cute. (And goes towards him to pull his cheeks when Nandu shouts)

Nandu: Soha wait.

Soha: kya hua?

Nandu: vo actually, he has an allergy to cosmetics. Toh agar tumhe uske paas jaana hai tho you have to go without makeup.

Soha: that's too tough man.

Nandu: I know na.

Raman: (whispers in Nandu's ears) tera bhi friend hai?

Nandu nods.

Raman: I don't want him to be another Harshad.

Nandu: (shouts) Papa aisa kuch nahi.

Manik: what happened Nandu?

Nandu: nothing. Barbie doll I am feeling hungry.

Nyo: haan chalo.

After having some snacks, Nandu leaves for her room while everyone retires to theirs. Their day went pretty boring with dinner at the night. While everyone sat for dinner, Manik gets a call so he attends it and until the time he returns everyone almost complete their food. Manik goes and sits in his chair, when Soha, who was sitting beside him, holds his hand. Manik jerking his hand says,

Manik: Listen, Soha, I have told you many times. Stay away from me.

Soha: Manik baby but main toh...

Manik: Stop babying me. And haan, until the time you are here, respect Nandini. I know everything that you were trying to do since morning. I hope I don't need to repeat this thing again.

Mom, I am going to my room.

Nyo: Manik, have something and go, beta.

Manik: Nahi Mom. Bhook nahi lagi.

Aryaman who has also finished his dinner leaves with Manik. They go to Manik's room and he locks the door from inside.

Manik's room

Aryaman: Why did you lock the door? And why did you shout at her?

Manik: She is a headache man. The only thing she does here is to demean Nandu. I don't know what problem she has with her. And this girl is stopping me from lashing out at her since morning. I don't know why. You just be careful around her. (Arya nods while Manik sulks) Aur uski wajah se I didn't even eat. I am feeling damn hungry man.

Aryaman: why don't you go and eat?

Before Manik could reply, they hear a sound from the balcony.

Manik: Tumhare koi aur relatives bhi aa rahe hai kya?

Aryaman nods in negative and Manik goes and checks the window and sees Nandu standing there with a toothy grin.

Manik: I have locked my door. That means I don't want to talk to anyone.

Nandu: And I am not included in that 'anyone' list.

Manik: How do you know?

Pushing him aside and entering the room.

Nandu: Kyunki jo tera hai, wo mera hai. Jo mera hai wo tera hai. Hiii CutiePie.

Aryaman smiles.

Manik: Nahi. Agar aisa hota tho you won't be stopping me when that poha was talking nonsense.

Nandu: Manik chod na. Bechari hai.

Manik: Wo aur bechari? Tu theek hai na?

Nandu: Offo Manik. You ask too many questions. Main yahan kisi kaam se aayi hun. Aur tum mujhe baaton mein uljha rahe ho.

Manik: kya kaam?

Nandu opens the door and takes the plate of food from the butler who was waiting outside as per Nandu's instructions. Looking at the food in Nandu's hands,

Manik: Mujhe nahi khana. (makes a grumpy face and looks away)

Nandu: Tere liye hai bhi nahi. I didn't have my dinner. And I am feeling hungry.

Listening to this Manik makes Nandu sit on the couch and takes the plate from her hands.

Manik: Pagal hai tu? Why didn't you have your dinner? Aise skip kaun karta hai? (and holds the spoonful of rice in front of her mouth)

Nandu: (with a smirk) Manik Malhotra

Manik: what?

Nandu: Why didn't you eat?

Manik: Wo I was angry with..

Nandu: Soha? Us bechari se kya problem hai Manik tujhe? Why do you always scold her?

Manik glares.

Nandu: Acha fine. I am not talking about her. You finish your food.

Manik: And you?

Nandu: maine kha liya baba.

Manik starts eating and Nandu stands up and started pacing around the room. Aryaman who was adoring the two people asks Nandu.

Aryaman: Nandu, how can you be so good to someone like her?

Nandu: Aryaman, remember one thing. You need a big heart to forgive someone.

Aryaman just nods and smiles at the purest soul before him.

Soon, Manik finishes off his dinner and looks at still pacing Nandu.

Manik: Tera ye mere room mein Cardio karna khatam ho gaya tho will you please go to your room. I need to sleep.

Before Nandu could answer him they hear a really loud scream. 

Kaun chillaya? Socho socho.
