The next morning everyone starts for college when Manik gets a call from dad. He signals everyone to leave and hands his car keys to Nandini. Grinning widely, she brings the car and they leave for college with Manik in passenger seat answering the call in only monosyllables and Aryaman at the back. After the call,

Nandu: kya hua, kiska call tha jo tumhari shakal puri holi ka baad jaisa ho gaya?

Manik glares.

Arya: Holi what?

Nandu: you apply colors on your face, it's a festival. After the mixture of all types of colors, you can imagine how a face looks like right?

Manik: Nandu at least be serious when I am glaring you yaar.

Nandu: acha sorry. Say, who called you so early in the morning.

Manik: your sweet dad. He called me to ask if I am going to college or not. If not I should stay at home to welcome that Soha.

Nandu: (gets serious) oh is it. Come, let me drop you home then we will go to college. Are you ok with it Aryaman?

Aryaman who is oblivious to the situation nods in agreement only to be glared by Manik and Nandu burst out laughing. Manik sits grumpily in his seat. They reach the college.

Aryaman: Manik will you accompany me to principal's office for completing my admission procedure.

Manik: why me? Go with the girl with whom you were making fun of me.

Nandu: it's ok Aryaman. I will accompany you. Let him deal with Soha alone.

And drags Aryaman from there while Manik runs to catch up with them after realizing what she said.

Manik: Nandu please na. You can't do this to me.

Nandu just smiles.

Outside Principal's office

Arya: guys, could anyone of you can come inside? I might utter some blunder there.

Manik: Arya. How's it possible. We will be here listening to your conversation. If at all you are in trouble we will jump in.

Nandu: I will accompany Aryaman.

Manik who was shocked by her declaration asked her,

Manik: how will you go inside without any reason?

Nandu: Nothing is impossible for Nandini Murthy.

Manik: I will pray for your strength brother.

Nandu: Manik shut up. Aryaman knocks the door.

Aryaman knocks the door and getting a permission to come in, he moves in. Nandu too moves along with him but was stopped by Manik.

Manik: Tum kahan ja rahi ho? He has knocked the door right.

Nandu: As if unhe pata chalega ki kisne knock kiya hai.

They both go inside while Manik stays there, scared of the trouble that Nandu was about to bring.

The principal was an old man who was next to Hitler. He is strict who eats, drinks and sleeps rules. He needs everything to be perfect and according to his rules. He gets mad seeing two students at a time in his office.

Princi: Why are there two people here when it's clearly written only one at a time.

Nandu (murmurs to herself): buddha kahi ka. Yeh koi ATM machine hai kya. One at a time.

Princi: Answer me.

Nandu: Sir, we both were confused on who knocked the first so we came together.

Princi(to Nandu): ok, tell me why are you here?

Nandu: It's ok sir. I can wait. You can ask him first.

Princi: Then why didn't you wait outside?

Nandu: I told you right, we were confused.

Princi: (getting pissed off turns towards Aryaman) Ok. Tell me why are you here.

Aryaman hands over his documents which were given to him by Manik. Principal checks the documents

Princi: Oh so you are the new student that Mr. Malhotra was talking about. Why did you decide to shift from New York City to Mumbai here?

Before Aryaman could respond Nandu says,

Nandu: Sir he got bored with the snow in New York. So he came here to experience Mumbai ki baarish.

Princi: Do you guys know each other?

Nandu: No sir. He just told me while we were waiting outside your room.

Princi: ok. Fine. You may leave. Now, Miss Nandini Murthy what was your doubt that made you wait for me (sarcasm dripping in his tone while Aryaman was standing at the door along with Manik and their conversation was clearly audible)

Nandu: Sir, my doubt was as we all got to know ki Kattapa ne Bahubali ko kyun maara but I didn't understand who is the wife of Bhallala deva?

Princi: What? Nandini Murthy this is the prestigious Space College. Here, people come for only studying. Please ask only college-related doubts. Otherwise, you can leave for your class.

Nandu: Sir, I have a college-related doubt too. Why are our prestigious Space college buildings painted white, when space is black in color?

Princi: What?

Seeing the principal fuming, Nandu decides to leave.

Nandu: Never mind sir. Mujhe laga aapko toh pata hoga. It's ok I will leave for my class now. Have a good day, sir.

And she dashes off from there without giving any chance for the principal to speak.

Outside Nandu finds a shocked Aryaman and laughing Manik.

Aryaman: What was that?

Manik: That's Nandu for you Aryaman. Don't be shocked. You will see many such things during your stay here.

Nandu gives Aryaman an 'I am proud of myself' look making both the guys laugh.

Aryaman: Guys let's go to canteen.

Nandu: Why canteen? We have a class now, right?

Aryaman: We are late for the class and Cabir told me that it's maths class and the prof. doesn't tolerate being late to his class.

Nandu: Aryaman we are just by 10 mins and Cabir always gives you half of the information.

Aryaman: But..

Manik: Arya, Nandu knows how to handle that prof. So, let's just follow her.

Arya nods confusedly and they leave for class. As soon as the prof. sees the students late, he gets all worked up.

Prof. : Why are you people late? Is this a classroom or a cinema hall. Jab man chaha chale aa rahe ho.

Nandu pops up from behind.

Nandu: Sir, actually we are..

Prof. : No, it's ok. I don't need any explanations. You can get in.

Aryaman was amused by the sudden change in the professor's mood but follows Nandu. Nandu joins her group and sits on an empty bench. As Aryaman was just behind Nandu, he sits beside her because of which Manik sits with Cabir. All this was noticed by Cabir since it was always Manik who sits beside her and made a mental note to ask him later.

During the class.

Aryaman: How did he leave you when he was shouting at us?

Nandini explained him their previous encounter making him laugh.

After classes, Everyone goes to the canteen.

While everyone was busy in their own discussions, Aryaman sat beside Nandu and Manik with Cabir engrossed in their discussions.

Cabir: Manik what's going on?

Manik: Where?

Cabir: Aryaman is your friend right?

Manik: haan, tho?

Cabir: do you want me to believe this? That guy is just around Nandini all the time and the 'over-protective' person inside you isn't reacting even.

Manik: Cabir we are friends that don't mean that Nandu kisi aur se baat nahi kar sakti. Aryaman is new here and he takes time opening up to people. Once he is comfortable he will talk to you too. Don't be jealous Cabir. (Says the last two lines to tease him)

Cabir: Manik, I am serious. Yaar, the last time you ended up thinking like this and Harshad happened. I don't want that to repeat again. I don't want anyone else to come in between you guys.

Manik: Cabir relax. Aisa kuch Nahi hai yaar. No one will come between us. I think you are hungry. Let's eat something?

Cabir: Manik.

Manik: Cabir I am not leaving her side. Not now, not ever. Just relax.

Cabir ends up the discussion.

Meanwhile, Aryaman and Nandu.

Aryaman: Nandu, at principal's office, what would happen if the principal had been angry with you? You might have put yourself in trouble, won't you?

Nandu smiles widely and replies,

Nandu: Aryaman, what do you think Manik was doing outside the principal's cabin? Do you think he was standing there being scared of the principal?

Arya: then?

Nandu: Aryaman, nothing, and no one can scare Manik, at least not when I am in trouble. He would pull me even out of a black hole if ever I am into it. He is my anchor. Until the time he is there beside me, no trouble can even touch me.

Aryaman couldn't help but smile looking at Nandini first followed by Manik but the smile on Nandu's face is replaced by a frown seeing someone coming towards them.
