(Y/N's POV)

It was 10 pm with little traffic on the road with barely any street lights, and very cold outside too but nothing was gonna stop me from reaching that motel nearby to check-in. Good thing I saved up a lot of cash with me from my last job as a garbage truck driver for this cause the people there were really "Trashy" to say the least. Well, hopefully, this nicer town will be a land of slightly better jobs.

1 hour later...

I reached the motel and it still had vacancy which was a good thing too cause I was beginning to feel the heaviness of sleep coming to me so I needed a room right about now. I parked the car, went to the back of the car, grabbed my suitcase, and went to the front office to get a room. I found the person behind the desk and asked for a room for multiple days, the person said that I would have to pay in advance plus another fee for staying for more than two nights. I wasn't fazed by that cause I whipped out to get exact cash for it so that was taken care of already. The person accepted the money and gave me the key, lastly telling me that my room was on the second floor. I thanked them and went on to my room, when I got there and unlocked the door, the room was ok looking at its best. The beds were made, the floors were normal, the walls plus ceilings were clean as well, overall not a pig's pen but nothing to write home about. I closed the door behind me and began to settle down, I sat my suitcase down in the other bed and popped it open seeing all of the clothes I have so far. I got to the closet next to the bed, opened it to see inside, and found some hangers were there which was a bonus compared to the other motels I had been to. I grabbed them all and hang all my shirts, pants and put them neatly in the closet so I got that done. Next, I got my packaged food and put them in the little pantry so it is ready for eating. Lastly, I brushed my teeth, got comfy laying down on the bed, and soon went to dreamland.

Y/N- *Yawn* ZZZZZZZZZ.....

(The next day)

(No POV)

It was 10 am in the morning and Y/N woke up soon enough to begin his hunt for work. He got up to eat some breakfast which was just a little cup of cereal with packaged warm milk and some water. Nothing too filling but as they said, it's better to have some food in you than nothing at all. Anyway, once Y/N got done eating, he got dressed and went out to search for any work. His first stop was at the local goodwill and saw that they needed movers to help with the donations out in the warehouse, it said it pays $13 an hour so he thought this was a good start. So, Y/N spoke to the head manager of the goodwill and asked about the job. The manager asked Y/N standard questions about him and everything was going fine until he asked if Y/N has any moving experiences in the past. Y/N said no and the manager wrote that down in his notes. After the little interview was done, the manager thanked him for his time and will give him a call to see what will happen next. Y/N thanked him too and left the goodwill to see anywhere else for work. His second stop was a local donut shop that needed cooks in the back, paying $12 an hour. Y/N thought about it for a while then came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth it. So, with that Y/N went to the town and searched there for his third search. Nothing showed up so far and Y/N was about to leave but then he saw an ad at a local Mcdonald's about uber eats. He stopped by and saw the ad in full detail, it said that it is easy to start and earn up to $22 an hour making deliveries. Not just for Mcdonald's, but for anything that uber eats supports. Y/N was intrigued by it largely due to the pay and easy start parts. So, without a doubt, he got out his phone, went to the link of the website, filled out all the necessary information, and clicked the submit button. Now, he had to wait to see what happens next so he went to the front of the McDonalds and ordered some food.

(Y/N's POV)

I was sitting down eating my food, looking at the news for the day when I suddenly got a notification, I clicked on it and it was my email taking me to an email message that Uber eats sent to me and it said...I GOT THE JOB!

Y/N's mind- YES!

I was so happy right then and there, that I got a steady job here already, which was the fastest time it took than previous times. Anyways, I threw my trash away and exited the Mcdonald's to begin my job, the bag that will be provided for me was being shipped to the front motel office, and hopefully the front person gets it. It was a risk adding the motel address to get my bag but that's a risk I have to take since that's the only place I'm staying right now, and some details I had to make up a cause of other reasons but I'm sure everything will work out in the end. I arrived back at the motel and went to the front office and prayed that it got there, and when I got there, I asked if a bag was there, and surprisingly, it was. The front person only nodded and handed me the bag and I couldn't be any happier about how this is turning out so far. I ran to my room and opened the bag up, it was awesome to feel it brand new. I got another notification later saying when can I start making deliveries and I put it in for tomorrow in the morning. I submitted my time and now was to wait for my first day of deliveries. I say that today was a good day so far but the challenges begin tomorrow so I should get some rest before that begins.

Y/N's mind- Tomorrow is the day and I can't wait for it.

Here is the remaster folks! I hope you find this new one to be interesting and I have made major changes as seen here but a change in characters is gonna appear as well so I wonder what you guys think about that, let me know.
