(The next morning)

(Y/N's POV)

*Ring *Ring*

I woke up to my alarms right away at the right time of 8 am in the morning, so I turned off my alarms and saw that I got notifications from uber eats saying that times are now available at this time. Neat, so I took a quick shower, dressed up, and ate some breakfast bars then left my room to begin my day. I got to my car and went to the app and looked at the available routes. And...Oh, looks like I got one already and it's for someone named Susan and the order is from Wendy's, it's a Baconator breakfast meal with a hot coffee. Ok, and it tells me what to do, ok this should be simple enough. 

(Timeskip)

I went to Wendy's, told them about an order being here, got it, and drove to the house that the GPS is telling me to go, this is simple so far but I'm guessing that doing this for many hours a day will take its toll. Well, at least I don't have to go to a physical building, talk to any co-workers or deal with some bitch managers I had to deal with in the past, well thank god I quit that life years ago. Anyway, I arrived at the house and one of the instructions said was to drop the order in the front door and to ring the doorbell twice then I go, ok sounds good. I did just that and went back to my car to confirm that I completed the order, then just like that my first route has been a success. 

Y/N- Neat, ok let's see what else I got to do.

I knew there was more work to do as there were more routes than earlier so I took one that was a simple one again for now then went to work.

Y/N's mind- Ok, well let's get to work and make some dough for the first day.

(No POV)

Many hours have passed and Y/N's first day was filled with mostly smooth routes with some mistakes along the way like not bringing some extra packets of ketchup when it was told in the instructions to do so, or when he missed a house a couple of times and last but not least is when he got the completely wrong order for one route and had to ask multiple times for the correct one but that was resolved soon enough. Overall, his first day was not so bad, definitely gonna keep this till his remaining days at the motel are gone, and has to move to the next area for more work. Y/N checked his app and there was only one route to go then he was done for the day.

Y/N- Ok, this one is for a Hilton and the order is a salmon salad ready to eat meal ready to be picked up at the whole foods and to deliver it quite farther away than the other ones.

 That was the last route that was left for him then he was good to go, so Y/N went ahead and got started to get it over with. However, unlike any routes today, this one will end his day with a shocking surprise waiting for him.

(Timeskip)

(Y/N's POV)

I was heading on my way to the place and this was something different than the others today, into the street where the whole foods corporate building is. Maybe an office worker or a manager ordered the food, who knows what but this is the last stop so this shouldn't take too long. The GPS told me to turn right and then once I made the turn, I saw the building the GPS said was only two minutes away and it sure looked fancy as expected for a corporate building. Anyways, I parked my car and grabbed the food, and headed my way inside, I walked to the front doors and was very nervous to ask around where I should drop off the order so I looked around for some kind of desk service to assist me with this. I came across the work assist desk area and went over there for help, I walked close by and the frontman saw me.

The frontman- Can I help you?

Y/N- Yes, I'm here for a lunch delivery for a person named Hilton.

The frontman- An order? Let me check in with her for a minute, pardon me.

Y/N- No problem.

Then he got into the phone and called whoever he was calling and I stood still while looking around the place for a bit to entertain myself. It took a little while and I didn't pay attention to what was said on the phone but the man got my attention back saying what to do next.

The frontman- Ok, so since no one is available to take the order to her office, she said it's fine that you go up there and take it to her yourselves. 

Y/N- Uhh....ok then, where do I go then?

The frontman- You take the elevator to the 20th floor and when you exit, her office is to the right. Got all that?

Y/N- Yes I do.

The frontman- That's good, have a fine day sir.

Y/N- You too.

I walked over to the elevator and pressed the 20th-floor button and was on my way up there. I was nervous about meeting this Hilton woman, albeit it's gonna be short but still, heading all the way here for an order is pretty unexpected. I arrived at the floor and went the way that man told me to go to and saw the big fancy wood doors which pretty much told me that I was in the right direction. I slowly made my way over there and once I was close to the doors, I knocked on it and my heart was pumping like crazy.

"Who is it"

I heard a voice and I cleared my throat to ready myself.

Y/N- I have a delivery for a Hilton. It's the salmon salad.

"Oh I see, well hold on for a minute, I'm on the way."

 I heard footsteps coming over here and I was ready to see who is this Hilton.

*Door opening*

"Ah, there it is, so glad you got here just when I was getting very hungry."

Y/N- N-no problem, happy to help.

Hilton- So sorry you had to walk all the way over here, my secretary is not here right now and he would do this normally.

Y/N- Oh no, it's no trouble at all Ms.

Hilton- I'm so glad you are understanding, here let me reward you for your hard work.

Y/N- O-oh no, you don't have to really. It's all good.

Hilton- Nonsense, you drivers do so much for us and you don't get enough appreciation for it so let me do this.

Y/N- Oh, why thank you then.

She walked over to her desk and she pulled some kind of envelope and pulled out a 50 dollar bill?! 

Hilton- Here you go, your tip for the day, I hope this helps out a little.

Y/N- I will put it to good use, thank you again for the kind tip.

Hilton- Your very welcome, sir.

Y/N- Well...you have yourself a good day now.

Hilton- You too si- wait before you go, can I get your name?

Y/N- Oh uh...why?

Hilton- I want to write a good review on how you were amazing, so maybe it can help you with your work in the near future. 

Y/N- Oh ok then, my name is Y/N L/N.

Hilton- Nice to meet you Y/N and have yourself a good day now.

Y/N- You too, goodbye.

I walked my way to the exit and celebrated on the inside on how well that turned out, speaking of which, I wonder what Hilton's position in this building is. Out of curiosity, I googled her name and it turns out that her real name is Elizabeth Hilton, and when I clicked on her Wikipedia page, it listed her position, and the one that was a huge one for me was..."CEO of Whole Foods."

Y/N's mind- WAIT...WHAT?!

I can't believe that it was the CEO herself here and the one I delivered too, oh dude this is super crazy.

Y/N- But hey, at least you made a good impression, so much so that you got a good tip from her so that's a plus. 

I walked to my car feeling so happy right now and I wanted to celebrate my successful first day, so I drove to the nearest buffet place and went inside to eat in joy.

Y/N-  Today was the best day ever.

(No POV)

It was around 9 pm at night and a woman was typing on her laptop about her experience with Uber eats today and just as she said, she wrote a long but very positive review on her experience with half of it praising the man named Y/N L/N. She submitted the review and put her laptop away and went to the kitchen but her mind was reminded of Y/N and how nice it was speaking to him, plus how professional and friendly he was. It made her smile a bit without even noticing it much sooner, for her that made her night and thought about something.

Hilton's mind- I think I may order from him again tomorrow. 

And that was just the beginning of it all, soon it will be more than just a simple order.
