Hannah, Rogue, Peachy, and Theo (formerly Rori)'s first Christmas together as roommates was a good one.

They decorated the house inside and out, and put up a tree that they got to decorate just the way they wanted.

They visited friends and family (who they wanted to see) and got to avoid the ones they didn't.

On Christmas eve, they spent the whole day watching bearable Christmas specials as well as How to Train Your Dragon and cooking their favorites.

Favorites like:

Burning Hot Swedish Pancakes.

Red Velvet Cake.

Spicy Chicken Sandwiches.

Ramen.

Apple Pie.

Chocolate Chip shaped Christmas cookies.

Glaric coated turkey and cheese sandwiches.

Pigs in a blanket.

They made it all and paired it with their favorite drinks:

Chocolate milk.

Soda.

Orange Juice.

Tea.

Hot Chocolate.

Then they put it all away for the next day and huddled up in the living room-- ready to open their Christmas Eve presents.

Hannah, of course, had already known what was in them since she had bought them.

Every year back home, ever since she had moved in with her stepmom, they all got new pajamas on Christmas Eve and it was a tradition that she wanted to carry on.

So she had saved up extra money to do just that.

Rogue got purple skeleton elf on the shelf pajamas.

Peachy got Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer pajamas.

Theo got Gingerbread men pajamas.

And Hannah had gotten herself some Christmas pirate pajamas.

And to Hannah's delight, all of her roommates loved the tradition and their pjs and immediately went to put them on.

Then they made a blanket fort, got comfortable, and put on Rise of the guardians. Eventually falling asleep against one another.

Then on Christmas day, Hannah woke up extra early and hung some handmade ornaments she had secretly made for her and her friends, and their pets.

A green Butterfly one for Peachy.

A yellow Axolotol one for Theo.

A purple raven one for Rogue.

A black cat one for Pepper.

A black and white dog one for Rufus.

And a red frog one for herself.

Then she made the table, making a plate for everyone with their favorite things and their favorite drinks in little handmade mugs with their names on them and let Rufus in, and Pepper down the stairs.

After that, she sat down on the back of the couch and waited excitedly for them to wake up so they could all eat.

Peachy was the first to wake. Hair sticking up everywhere.

"Uh, Hannah what are you doing?"

"Waiting for the others to wake up so we can eat and open our gifts."

Peachy blinked. Not saying anything for a moment.

"Okay then..."  she got up and sat on the couch in front of her. Joining in on the wait.

Once the others awoke they settled at the table for a quiet breakfast of mostly non breakfast foods and excitedly made their way back go the tree.

Then they opened their gifts.

Theo got a binder.

So did Rogue.

Hannah got a box of spiral notebooks.

Peachy got a jacket with a green Butterfly on the back.

It was a good Christmas.
