|PERSONA|
Personality: August is a very dynamic person, despite his variety in public display of emotion. He tends to be Mr. Broody Moody. Always serious and stoic with a swoon worthy scowl on his face. He's generally pretty uptight and always finding some way to complain or brood. He takes everything seriously and leaves no room for error. It is by no exaggeration that we tell you he is a perfectionist. He's almost obsessive with trying to be the absolute best at everything he does. He tends to be sarcastic and cynical and definitely possesses a darker sense of humor. He's generally moody, going from civil to cold in a matter of seconds. He isn't much of an optimist and usually is the one of the group to administer reality checks. He is typically reasonable and logical in most everything he does. However, given his natural moodiness, it's safe to say that he has a bit of a temper when provoked. He's one to silently scowl and judge from a distance and winning his favor is a blessing in itself. Deep down, Auggie is generally really sentimental though. He takes a lot of things to heart, whether it be people, objects, places, praise, or criticism. He holds on to a lot of things and for this he often has grudges. He's very particular about how he likes things and with his sentimentality, he also tends to be secretly thoughtful and, surprisingly, soft. His heart isn't as calloused as he'll make you believe. Sometimes the coldest and most brooding faces tend to have the softest hearts. His smile says it all and a grin, smirk, or smile is a beautiful rarity that anyone who knows Auggie learns to treasure. Clearly, there's a lot more to August than what meets the eye.

Background: August grew up in a loving household with three other siblings. On top of siblings, he comes from a mixed household, his mother being Latina and his father being your average Caucasian. Mixed heritage, middle sized family, and Texas was enough to certainly give August an entertaining childhood. His parents owned a lot of land and so he often went off exploring with his siblings. He learned a lot of lessons from the Texan Wild West. He grew up loved though and bilingual, which is a huge advantage to him today. Of course he's had his fair share of heartbreak, betrayal, and deception and perhaps those incidents in his life drove forth the demeanor he carries now. It should also be noted that August has adored music since he was young and he's been fortunate that his career can involve something he loves. However, it's also exhausting putting up with the drama crazed media and four other guys. Perhaps the natural competition imposed on him from growing up and being in a boy band is what has truly sparked his competitive nature, but growing up he had always had that drive. As for the scar on his eyebrow, he managed to get that from an angry feral cat. He's not too fond of felines because of it.
