WHERE CAN I BUY CALM?

so i won't feel like a streak of energy searching for an outlet in a slowly shrinking room?
so my troubles can't reach me, but wash upon the shore just behind me?
so i can drown myself in a world where my heart doesn't beat like a hammer
and i don't have to be scared?

why can't i lock myself

where calm is
and stay there?

why not?

because we have so much to do
so many miles to run
and darling, you know we've only just begun
our journey across to different worlds
a place where several paths unfurl

oh, but it won't be easy
these roads are twisted;
thorns grow in our every direction
and each step is pain

but don't you want to get
the others to calm as well?

they feel the panic, too.
