I awoke the next morning and I didn't feel well at all. My snout was blocked, and I felt awful. I trudged out of the cave. "Oh Crash, you look Di-gusting!" Said Toucan as I walked past. I ignored her and walked forward. Her tone suddenly changed. "Crash go home, I'll explain. I've already noticed Copper writing to Auklet, so I'll tell him to write to her." I nodded slowly and spread my wings. Oh dear moons, even lifting them required what seemed like loads of effort.

After what seemed like hours I reached the Summer Palace. I gazed forlornly at the pair of spiral rocks. I didn't feel like swimming at all, but I had to. I plunged into the cool water and gasped. It was ice cold. I shook the cold water off as I reached the surface, then I sat shivering.

"Crash Tube?" I heard my mother's voice, it was clearly worried.

"C-copper is g-going t-to a send a n-note." I tried to say it steadily but the shivering overtook me. Auklet looked at me, as if examining me.

"You've got a bad case of the flu," she observed, studying me closely. "It seems to have popped out during the night." Her eyes left my body and she turned to a blue SeaWing who had appeared next to. The SeaWing had pride shining in her gaze. "Arrrrrr," sighed Auklet. "Tsunami what is it now?" I recognized Tsunami, she was a former Dragonet of Destiny.

"Riptide and I are getting married." Auklet's mood immediately changed. "Oh wow Tsunami! That's amazing!" Auklet looked at her sister, excitement burning in her eyes. "Have you heard anything from Anenome?"

"No, she hasn't reported in a while, but I'm sure she's happy too."

"If I may interject..." Said a orange red scaled SkyWing who had just appeared from the tunnel. Copper was shivering too. "Actually before I say that... I'm Copper, of the SkyWings." He held out his talon for Auklet to shake.

Auklet shook it. "Ah, so this is Copper..." She shot a glance at me in my sick state. I tried to smile. "This is the dragon who..... I've heard a lot about......" Copper looked at me, his expression was one of happiness, as if he knew I had told her about him. I felt to weak to fret about my.....uh feelings for him.

"Is that a problem?" Tsunami asked, flicking her tail.

"Oh no, no, what's this?" She picked up scroll Copper had brought. "Ok.....lessons being going well.... Crash got....wait...Crash got..." Her eyes widened and her tail started flicking. "YOU GOT SOMETHING FOR VALENTINE'S DAY AND NEVER TOLD ME?" She bellowed suddenly. All me, Copper and Tsunami flinched. I felt my cheeks go warm.

"I don't know who it's from though..."

"WHO CARES? SOMEONE LIKES MY CRASHIE!" I thought I saw Copper blush before leaving the palace in a hurry, like he hoped I hadn't seen it.
