Suddenly my stomach growled loudly. It went "grrrrrrrrOoooowel" Copper looked up abruptly, his tail inches from the floor. "Hungry?" He asked.

"Apparently," I said as it growled again. I was starving! But, I didn't know why. Then it hit me. "Copper what time is it?" He looked out the window.

"The sun is setting wait that means- it's supper time!" I followed him out and we walked to the preycenter. The rest of Winglet was already there split into two tables. One with the girls, one with the boys. The measly boys. The gender difference in my Winglet was massive. 5 girls, 2 boys. It's not like there could be a even number though. I glanced over to Starspeaker and Copper. Starspeaker was talking to Copper about something that had made the male dragon blush bright pink, then Copper noticed me and hid his head. I did question this, don't get me wrong. Starspeaker noticed Copper's behaviour and his quizzical expression grew to one that was somewhere between sly and content. Toucan noticed me staring and her face became what's called a "Lenny" face I think? Only she and Cobra knew that I had a crush on Copper. Moose, Starspeaker and Copper himself had no idea.

"Whatcha staring at Crash?" Toucan's obnoxious tone made my snout curl.

"Toucanshine! Shut up we all know what she's staring at!" Toucan made a disgusted snort at the fact Cobra had used her full name.

"I told you don't call me that."

"Suit yourself," Cobra replied and took a bite out of her fish and remembering how hungry I was I took a chunk of deer and started chewing on it.

"I'm going to kill you one day Cobra."

"What's so wrong with Toucanshine?"

"It! It.... reminds me of my mother...."

"Your mother's name was Tiger. I don't think Toucanshine has anything to do with your mother."

"Glory named me."

"Exactly."

"Oh what do you know?" Toucan suddenly snapped. "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR MOTHER BECAUSE SHE DIED BEFORE YOU COULD HATCH? Huh?" Then Toucan ran out of the preycenter, tears streaming from her eyes. Now that was a scene I have always remembered because I learnt more about Toucan that day.
