Coppers POV
I watched as she froze, and she slowly turned her head. "Oh h-hi Copper," she began,"what a-are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to you, I'll be waiting in the cave." She blushed, well it had darkened for the blush had been there before. I shook off the crazy thoughts in my head. She doesn't like me and never has. I turned and started to walk towards the Lapis Winglet cave. Even though I've only known her for a few years, I really do adore her greatly. I know, I'm really pathetic. I should be brave and proud, but I wasn't, not around her anyway. Soon I reached the cave. I went to my bed and took out one of the scrolls underneath it. It was a drawing I had made of me and her kissing. Hey! Stop laughing! I don't know what I was thinking!

"Copper?" Her green snout pushed its way into the den. She was definitely avoiding my gaze.

I saw him on his bed reading his scroll, when he noticed me eyeing it he quickly stuffed it under the bed. "Hi Crash Tube, I wanted to ask you something about the Biology project." Okay, so he wasn't going to do anything to me. I felt relieved. "What are you doing it on?" I flicked my ear slightly shocked.

"...Sky...SkyWings" I saw Copper coil in shock, this behaviour shocked me.

"That-that's weird I was chosen to do it on SeaWings..." Was it fate? Was it fate, he had been chosen to do that? I could feel a warm feeling in my scales. "So do you wanna be.....?" My eyes sparkled.

"Partners?!" I couldn't hold my excitement. "Partners? For the project? Yes! You have no idea why I want to be partners so badly!" I felt like leaping around, I get to spend time with him. But wait- I still have a crush on him right? Of course I do, or I wouldn't be excited!

"I think might have a guess..." FishDung! Is it obvious? "You want to be partners as friends." Phew.. Wait? Did he sound slightly disappointed? Copper looked at me. "So.. How long can you breathe underwater?"

"Forever."

"Oh okay"
