Copper stayed there for a while looking away from me. He wasn't upset, in fact, he was smiling and his cheeks had gone cerise. He was blushing about something, I figured. But what exactly, was not known, at that stage. He turned to me, his amber eyes glistening before saying,"I better go..." And then he disappeared beneath the wave ridden hole that led to outside of the Summer Palace. I stood there a while and then I blushed. Copper had been talking about someone who wasn't a SkyWing, and I wasn't, because he'd mentioned hybrids. As far as I knew, Copper was not one known for flirting, so it was almost impossible to decipher who he viewed differently than others. Copper definitely only liked females though, I recalled someone saying he'd had a small crush on Toucan when he was younger. But dragons change I guessed.

"Well lying around won't get me anywhere," I said, my glow scales glowing dimly. If I were to go back to school tomorrow I had no time to be sick. I followed him through the tunnel, but I wasn't following him, I was going a different direction. It was a while before I reached the Deep Palace. My mother was surprised to see me. She closed the scroll she was reviewing, and stared at me in wonder.

"Wow," Auklet begun,"Well Crash Tube, you're a fast healer I'll give you that." I smiled and flashed my glow scales saying, See? Perfectly Healthy! in Aquatic. She flashed her scales back. I see those Aquatic lessons paid off, eh? I wondered if anyone else could understand our conversation. Yip! Can I return to school tomorrow? I replied, my scales shining brightly. Yes. You may, that'll make Copper happy,eh? I stopped and blushed. Don't bring Copper into this! He has nothing to do with it! Auklet smiled and her glow scales dull ended. Since when? The slow dull flashes looking like ice. As far as I'm aware... She didn't glow the last few words, but I knew what she would've said next. 'You like him' I lowered my head. You know everything don't you? Auklet replied with bright flashes. Yeah, kinda. I kinked my head, Auklet had used a language no Queen would most likely use. When I didn't reply she glowed, but I don't mind, it'd be nice to have a few Hybrids in the tribe... My ears shot up. Y-you don't m-mind? You want me and Copper...to...get...MARRIED?! Mother we're only five! Marrying age is like 9 or something.

I didn't mean right now. Auklet replied quickly, tail flicking back and forth. It's just... I kind of want you two... to... My mouth dropped open, and my eye twitched. Everything stopped time, motion, etc. The words first glowed slow and soft and steadily rose to fast and loud. YOU SHIP US?! It was the first words that popped into my, Crash Tube's, mind. I swam backward at speed. The words ran laps in my brain. She.ships.us.She.ships.us Every word was emphasized. Auklet swam off into the blue ocean, startling fish and sea life. Me? I was hyperventilating in the ocean. My mother... My mother, of all dragons... would like it if me and Copper were... Oh my moons..
