-Warriors Begins To Test His Luck-
Me, Time, Warriors and Wind were relaxing by the fire after possibly the worst day of relentless fighting so far, watching Wild and Twi spar together while 'Roolie tended to Four's burned palms and Legend hacked at a dead branch for firewood. "Hey you guys, what's the biggest thing you've ever killed?" Wind asked, a smile lacing his boyish face as he sat next to Wars. "Well..." Time pretended to think for a moment before continuing. "The moon." Wind pouted, pretending to be annoyed with the Old Man's answer. "Oh, c'mon, Old Man! Something you can actually kill!" Wild dodged Twi's stab and walked casually over to us, leaving the Rancher tripping over his feet. "On my adventure, I once got killed by the moon." I raised one eyebrow and gave a forced smile. "Umm... Anyone want to hear mine? I killed... I killed a dark god."

Wild gaped, mouth wide, before he patted my shoulder in a brotherly sort of way. "You an' me both, Sky! I bombed the Calamity!" Time put his head in his hands, and muttered "Why am I not surprised, Wild?" Four bounced to his feet with one hand on his chest, eyes full of pride. "I killed an octorok that was almost 50 times my size, and lived!" Legend strolled over, hands full of dry wood which he heaped by the fire before going back to retrieve his sword. "Of course you lived, you wouldn't be here if you were dead, idiot! Oh, by the way, are we talking about how hard it was to fight them or just pure size?" Wind considered for a second until I spoke up. "How hard it was. Demise wasn't that big compared to a giant octorok, but oh man he was tough to battle. I still have scars from being hit by lightning in that place..." The Vet winced, then shrugged. "If I have to be honest, it would be a goddess damned thief called Blind. He was tricky, kept me on my toes." Wars poked Legend in the chest, a gleaming white smile on his face. "I imagine it'd be quite easy to keep you on your toes, you never sleep, you're always expecting something to come flying at you with murder in mind!" Legend scratched the back of his head like all of us do when we're embarrassed and made a strangled noise of protest. The Captain threw his blonde head back and guffawed like a goron. I couldn't understand why making Leg feel bad about himself was funny, but oh well...

About a week later, I'd forgotten about Wars' cruel joke and teasing, and we were on the move again, this time, in Wild's Hyrule. Wind was whining about having sore feet or something, and who could blame him? Sore feet suck. But, when he asked Wars for a piggyback, the Captain just scoffed and walked off. Wind glanced at me and our eyes met for a second, doubt meeting concern. Something was up with him, and everyone had noticed. Time muttered something in Twi's ear, who nodded and began to subtly follow Wars. A whoop sounded from the trees, and a very battered Wild emerged from the woods, wiping blood out of his face like a true forest gremlin. "Hey, Wars, I did it!" The Captain's ear twitched as he regarded Wild's bedraggled appearance, before huffing irritably. "I should have known those Silver Moblins never stood a chance... Hmm... How about a Golden Lynel next?" Wild's eyes went wide, wide with something I had never seen in his eyes before. Terrifying steely determination mixed with a fear of a nameless evil. "Consider it done."

Uh oh! Wars is gonna land himself in deep, deep water. The old man ain't gonna be pleased with him! Hee hee hee! I regret nothing! I am really sorry to all those Warriors stans out there, I do like him, just I needed to write something angsty so I did. (Me realising everything I write is technically angst) Oops... Well, hope you enjoyed. I certainly enjoyed writing this over a week. Nice break from 'When Glass Cries' and 'Shadow of the Fallen Lands' I love those things but sometimes I just need time to think. Okay well bye I guess. See ya next time!
