-The Lynel And The Champion-
I just wanted a break. Three seconds would be enough, I just wanted to stop and have some time to myself, preferably without worrying about Warriors' sudden personality change or Hyrule's urge to explore everything within a ten mile radius. I didn't want two minutes, I needed two minutes to collect myself, I was practically falling apart at the seams. Then again, all of us were. This was Wild's fifth disappearance this week, and this time we couldn't find him. Twi was on the verge of a mental breakdown, the old man was trying so hard to keep up a brave face but his façade was slipping by the second. Even I could tell his patience was wearing thin, especially with Wars. I couldn't tell what had happened to our captain, he was vain and obsessive but he wasn't cold or cruel, or even remotely selfish. It was like a switch had flicked in his mind, and I decided I didn't like it. Whatever he told Wild to do had made the Champion on edge for about a day or two, before we woke up to a message in the dirt that said simply 'Gone hunting' . Upon finding the message, 'Roolie had woke up everyone except Wars because nobody really wanted to touch Warriors in the mornings anymore. You'd lose a finger if you did.

And, of course, being the total stealth artist he was, Wild had disguised his scent so we couldn't even get Twilight to track him and vanished. I wanted to scream, to hunt him down and chide him, to hug him and tell him it'd all be okay, but I couldn't. Wild was gone. "D'you know where he is?" Legend said, prickly front abandoned in his worry for the Champion. "Do I look like I care where Wild is? He can handle himself, he'll be fine." was Wars' pompous response, which made my eyes glint dangerously, like a sword's finely sharp edge. Fi buzzed in response to my darkened thoughts, telling me we'd find him if we dowsed for him. Dowsing, of course! "I know how we can find him..." I said quietly, enjoying how I got everyone's attention with those six words. Hyrule's eyes were shining with unshed tears; Wild had been like a brother to him, as with the rest of us. "Fi can help us! On my adventure I often used something called dowsing to find items that were missing, or even people. If you have something of Wild's, please give it to me."

Four jumped to his small feet and rushed to his bedroll. Figured it would be him cause he collects things from all of us. He's got one of my old wrist guards that I haven't worn in years, along with one of my old tunics. He came back a moment later clutching a weird animal, or even monster, skull with war paint on it and red locks falling from the back. "Lynel skull." Four proclaimed, handing it to me. It was cracked and scorched and had an arrowhead buried in it. "Looks like this has saved Wild's skin more times than I would care to remember... It's perfect!" I touched it to Fi's blade and she made a small chiming noise. "Object recognised. Would you like me to dowse for Wild, master?" I nodded and she leapt out of the sword, guiding us through forest so dense that we had to bomb and chop our way through it. We could see light, though, at the end of our tunnel. Roars and growls shook our pathway and once or twice we had to duck to avoid being decapitated by arrows. Twi bend down and picked one up, looking over it with a practiced eye. It was one of Wild's. It had a piece of colourful, beaded string tied to the shaft and the head was sharper than sharp, and covered in revolting black blood. Warriors' scoff reached my ears and I flinched slightly as the Captain took the lead, eves shining with the disgusting light of sick pleasure. Legend through one more bomb, blasting the vines into the middle of next week, before Wars pushed us all back and hissed in our ears, "Watch, you fools! Look at this sight and despair, for your precious little Wild isn't coming out of this one!"

I had to be honest, in that moment, I saw red. I pushed myself to my feet, and rushed Wars, pinning him to a tree. I raised my leather gloved fist, punching Wars violently and squarely on the nose. "You'd better tell me what's gotten into you this minute, or I'll break your nose."

So, how'd ya like it? considering I left this chapter unfinished in my unpublished box for 6 months I think it was... okay... See ya!
