CSK

#whistlepodu

The Chennai Super Kings are a franchise cricket team based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, which plays in the Indian Premier League, founded in 2008

...says Wikipedia.

Chennai Super Kings is one of the cricket teams that compete in the IPL (Indian Premier League), one of the most popular T20 cricket leagues in India, if you can't see that from the name.

So, this year, 2020, CSK's had a bad time with how, for the first time in the history of IPL tournaments in which they had participated, they didn't enter the playoffs.

That's not a problem, I mean, shit goes up or down but you gotta accept it. That's sports.

But the fucked up thing is that, every single person keeps saying dumb shit about the team and its players. Hell, even some players' families are getting threatened, so please stop it.

The problem isn't that haters are gonna rub it in CSK fans' faces because, duh, you'd probably not leave the opportunity to show off how proud you are of your team, but the bitchy thing is that even some of CSK's own fans had started shaming the players.

It's all a game where losses and wins have to be faced head on, you can't just keep winning and never lose at all—unless you're in a game with no competitors at all obviously.

So seriously people, stop fucking doing all the shitty stuffs like, stfu and fuck off honestly.

I'm not telling everyone's dumb. There are people who had actually congratulated CSK even though it had gone down swinging—yes CSK got congratulated for losing because the hard work was truly recognized by these people.

Sure, CSK has got old players but it doesn't mean their competing spirit is lost. It's just their body's nature.

And to all those who keep saying CSK is a sore loser, honey you better listen, more like read, and read good.

CSK didn't stay in the last position in the points table while losing; it actually proudly went out of the tournament while staying in the 7th position in the points table (which may not seem impressive, but it actually is with how bad some of their previous matches were) with 3 consecutive wins.

3 consecutive 50+ score from a player.

3 consecutive 50+ score from a youngster.

That's right bitches, I'm talking about Ruturaj Gaikwad who scored:

62 off 49 balls (not out) in the 53rd match of the tournament against KXIP (Kings XI Punjab).

72 off 53 balls (out) in the 49th match of the tournament against KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders).

65 off 51 balls (not out) in the 44th match of the tournament against RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore).

Not to forget—most importantly—the 3 consecutive times he was the Player of the Match.

This same kid who got out with a duck in a match and had missed some important wickets' catches and who had always gotten a below-the-average score initially in IPL 2020.

So yes, CSK has got scope and young potential blood even though it was figured out a bit later.

Nevertheless, better late than never.

Everyone must understand that all the players are not bought by the captain's will purely. The BCCI affect the factors as well and one reason why the core team consisted of the players that we see now is because the players were also bought on the basis of their home ground.

CSK's home ground is pretty small actually, so sixes and fours were easy to hit and runs were easy to be taken by the 'old players' hence the players were chosen accordingly.

There are so many reasonable aspects that we don't know of which affect the players of the team, not only CSK's but all other teams' players too.

And those two precious words "Definitely not" is a proof that next year when CSK comes back, they'll come back guns blazing. Whether they win or not, an improvement in the team order is expected from what M.S.D. had spoken on the 53rd match on 1st of November (Sunday).

However, this is what I'd like to say to the teams that got into the playoffs:

May the best team win!

And to the teams that didn't make it to the playoffs:

All the best for next time!

Because this is

I.P.L.

Where talent meets opportunity

यत्र प्रतिभा अवसर प्राप्नोति (Yatra Pratibha Avsara Prapnotihi).

And with eagerness I'll be waiting for next year.

For CSK to come back again.

For CSK to show its skills again.

For CSK to compete again, regardless of wins or losses.

For the Roar of the Lion.

Until then,

With yellove,

Stay jacked.
