Curse Words
Warning: strong language, censored (I don't censor hell, since it's technically not a curse word)
When people use curse words as adjectives, why can't they use different curse words? You're probably confused as to what I mean, so I will give you an example:
If someone says they're really scared and wants to use a curse word as an adjective for emphasis, they usually would say, "I'm f***ing scared."
My question is why you can't say something like, "I'm sh**ting scared." or, "I'm helling scared."
You're thinking, But, Miss Elora! It's because it just doesn't sound right!
Ha. There was a point in time when no words sounded right. We just got used to it. In fact, if this entire generation started saying that they were "helling scared," then after a while, it would sound normal to us.
The only problem is that "helling" is definitely not a word.
Also, who caught my Melanie Martinez reference? I'll love you forever if you did. Comment!
