Sans' Machine
Once she left the Grey Room, she was back where she'd left her writing material. Sans was there, along with Papyrus and Undyne. Not wanting a repeat of what happened with Undyne last time, she switched to her skeleton form. "Boys, Undyne." She greeted. "You were looking for me?" Undyne froze upon seeing Suna in her skeleton form for the first time. "YES! WE WANTED TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING!"
"ay, where were ya anyway?"
"It's.. a bit of a story. I thought I heard something and went to check it out. I'm just.. a little on edge. What do you want to give me?" Papyrus presented a flat rectangular thing. "YOU'RE VERY OWN PHONE!" She took the strange thing, confused. "What is a phone?"
"Oh man! You don't know what a phone is?!" Undyne gawked. "the last time she was awake was before the time of phones, so i'm not really surprised."
"WORRY NOT, MOTHER! I SHALL TEACH YOU HOW TO USE A PHONE!" He then started to show her how to use the 'device'.

"so.. you're bit of a story?" Sans asked after Papyrus and Undyne ran off to train. "I saw him. I saw your father. I didn't want to say anything in case you haven't talked to Papyrus yet." Sans stared at you. "you.. you saw him..? but.. you forgot him?"
"I saw him and I... I had forgotten him.. but... then I remembered. It's a little difficult. I just.. I remember some things."
"did he say anything?" Sans asked. "I asked if I could get him to exist again. He said you knew."
"i.. do. follow me." Sans took the lead. Suna tilted her head and followed. "I feel like there's more to this than your letting on."
"there is. i'll explain once we get there." Silence fell over the pair.

Sans led Suna behind the house and to another door. "This is..?"
"the entrance to my lab." He replied, unlocking the door. "remember what i said about the resets?" She nodded. "What about them?"
"it's because of them that i haven't freed him yet." He led her down the stairs. He walked over to a tarped machine. He pulled the tarp away. "i can't make progress when it's all undone next reset.."
"Oh.." That made sense. "So Frisk is keeping Wingdings trapped?"
"more 'r less. funny for a kid that wants to free all monsters, eh?" There was a overlaying depressed undertone. She hummed. "I don't know what to think of that child." She sighed, sending a determined look at the machine. "What if we can get it done before the next reset?" He looked skeptically at her. "that's not possible."
"Nothing's impossible, Comic."
"i'm telling ya mom, it can't be done." Her magic flared. "It will be done! I'm determined!" Sans sighed. Now he knew where he got his stubbornness from. There would be no stopping her. Yet, his dad was stubborn too-

They went upstairs after Sans reluctantly agreed to try again. Papyrus was making supper, and Sans went to his room. Suna took to her writings again. She wondered what did he even do in there? "i read what you wrote so far. you're gonna be a great author." She smiled up at Sans. "Thanks, but you should really wait until the story is done, like everyone else." She teased. "heh heh.. sorry.. couldn't help it.."
"BUT MOTHER IS RIGHT! YOU SHOULD HAVE WAITED!" Papyrus chided. Suna snickered as Sans ducked away playfully. "ANYWAYS, FOOD IS READY!"
"Then let's eat!"

War raged around her. Monsters fell away to dust, humans collapsed into pools of blood. She was searching for something. She didn't know what. She spotted familiar faces through the fighting. She weaved past the death and destruction. "Mother? Father?" Merriweather smiled. "Daughter. Your sons are beautiful."
"It's a shame, really. They are so young.." Ninito sighed. "What? I don't understand?" Arms wrapped around her. "You don't know? They are going to die" Wingdings whispered. "What?!" She whirled around to face her mate, but he was gone. She looked back to her parents in time to see them fall to dust. They could die. She just got them back! "Comic! Papyrus!" She searched desperately for her sons. "COMIC! PAPYRUS!"
"M-MOTHER.."
"PAPYRUS!" She followed his voice. He smiled. "M-MOTHER.. I-IT'S OK MOTHER.. I-I'LL BE OK.." At the last part, his skull fell off. "PAPYRUS! NO, NO, NO!" He started dusting. "NONONONONONO!" She started sobbing. "m-mom.." She turned to look at Sans. There was a cut running across his chest. "C-COMIC!" He chuckled quietly. "it hurts.. i know. but it's all happened before." He closed his sockets and fell into dust. She was alone.

"mom! mom! come on! wake up, please!"
"MOTHER! PLEASE, YOU'RE SCARING US!"
"c'mon! it's just a nightmare!"
"STOP CRYING, PLEASE!" She lulled awake slowly. Unnaturally slowly, for someone who was having a nightmare. Her nonexistent throat hurt. Tears streaked down her face and she was shaking. She whimpered. Papyrus hugged her close. "It's ok, mother.. it's ok."
"ya were calling out our names in your sleep and screaming no. i won't ask, i never tell pap mine, but will you be ok?" Sans asked. She nodded slowly. "I- I think so.."
