Protecting him was something Delirious subconsciously did.  Without a second thought he defended him in battle, watched his health bar more than his own.  If they play a new game, Delirious gave Vanoss the most detailed tutorial he could with the Canadian under his wing.  He guided him through maps and missions, watching him with a fond look stuck on his face.

Vanoss always loved that, the protective role taken upon by Delirious.  He liked being held, not being babied, but just genuinely cared for and looked after.  He always got that feeling from Delirious.  That raw emotion that hadn't quite been fine tuned just yet, but it was there.  That admiration and gentleness, the quick smile and small laughs.
