Uno Point of View

I pouted.

I showed my unwillingness.

I even tried my extra special ability to coax other with my cuteness.

But nothing worked. I mean, it should me who should be angry and avoid her but why is she furious and avoiding me?

However, I was still generous in my behavior and sort out several ways and topics to talk to her but except for the business, she wouldn't say an extra word.

Not only that, but she has been pushing me to make a quick progress in the project from which I can tell she is somehow getting quite impatient for some reason.

"Stop staring at me like a fool." I heard her chide me in contempt.

Since pouting did not work on her anymore, I still nonetheless, pouted just to express myself.

"I'm still angry at you." I decided to lay my grievances on the table bare.

I'm still unconvinced that Alarming can do something like that and too to something like me who is so irresistible.

Someone can overlook my charm? Impossible.

Someone can overlook my beauty? Impossible.

Someone can use evil means against me? More than impossible.

And when that someone is Alarming Allard, then, that is more impossible that most impossible.

"Okay." She shrugged and went back to reading her business documents.

"How can you?" I gasped, still trying to not think of her as a heartless woman.

"I have no other way. I have to complete reading and signing these documents before noon."

"I'm not talking about your work. I'm talking about the man you sent to cajole me." I cannot take it anymore.

I'm not displeased that she sent a man to coax me but I'm more displeased about how she could even think of doing so to a natural and most sophisticated person like me.

Alarming, who was just sipping on her coffee, spewed out and that straight came onto my own face, washing it all over until the coffee stained the aesthetic of my clothes.

Asmund was stunned for a moment before helping Alarming with some paper towels while Buzz did the same to me.

However, Buzz took the love and respect for me seriously to another universe that he personally with his own hands cleaned my face, clothes and the crouch part of my pants where the coffee dripped generously.

What did I even say so surprising that everyone reacted so violently?

I did not take it seriously at first but when I observed Alarming and Asmund stop what they are doing and look at me and Buzz with speculative and gossipy eyes, I couldn't help but feel awkward.

"Whatever you wish to think. I only want the results of such – cajoling. Now there's still few more minutes before everyone arrives so, please." She showed me the way to the door, intending me to walk out and probably change into clean clothes.

I took the offer and went to my own office room to change. But something about my current look impressed me to great extent.

When I looked at myself in the mirror, the stained coffee on my face and clothes gave a really nice vibe to my whole being. Except for the smell, the look itself has some potential to be tried out.

So I immediately took a few pictures of myself and immediately sent them to my personal stylist to prepare a beverage styled makeover for me.

It did not take me long to take a simple shower in the bathroom of my office and change into fresh clothes.

By the time I arrived at the lobby of the Allard enterprise, everyone was already waiting there with in the casual clothes, with their duffle bags and a few more stuff needed for this team building camping activity.

Apparently, Allard conglomerate has this system of taking everyone on a three to four days camping or outdoor teambuilding activities. This time, it is decided that they would go on camping trip to a seaside mountain camping grounds five hours drive away from the city.

"Mr. Jenson? Mr. Bane? Mr. Ferro? What are you all doing here?" Alarming asked in surprise.

The mentioned directors looked at her with a smile and then turned their grin towards me. "Ah, we are going on this trip as well."

"Going on this trip? Didn't you all not like such activities anymore?"

"We did but Mr. Mayhem called all the directors personally and asked us to join the fun so we all couldn't refuse. Others are just on their way; they'll be here in five minutes."

What is a trip without narrow minded old men to argue with?

Is that even called a trip?

"Invited by him?" She asked as she looked at me in shock. "Why did you invite them? Don't tell me –"

"Of course, I am going on this teambuilding camping too." When I learned about this, I just so want to go with them and build a good team spirit with everyone.

So, I decided I would go with them as well. This would also help me with my work indirectly so why not.

It was only earlier that I came to know that Alarming is not going with everyone this time because she is busy with her younger brother's engagement preparations.

She is too busy that she regretfully decided break the custom for the first time and not go this time.

"Why are you going and why am I not informed about it?" She said in a slightly panicked tone which I don't know the reason about.

"Isn't it obvious?"

"No."

"Naturally because I am also a part of Allard enterprise!"

"No, you are not." Did she just say I'm not a part of her company?

Alarming has changed! She has suddenly changed for some reason.

"I'm a partner of Allards and the word 'partner' itself has part in it. Certainly, I should be a part of this activity when my designation itself is saying so." I gave a clear clarification with a proud smile.

"As for the directors, since you will not be going, the employees need some other authoritative figures to bond with, yes?" I continued while the other directors arrived as well.

I waved at them and everyone slowly started to get into the private buses. I waited for everyone to get on the bus while I decided to enter in the last.

"Alright, Alarming. Don't worry, I will take best care of Allard employees and directors. I promise they will enjoy this so much that will even forget if they have any qualms against you."

Patting her shoulder, I gave her my assurance and turned to walk into the awaiting bus.

Although she sent someone to wheedle me, I decided to be a magnanimous person and not take it to heart.

Because I know this teambuilding camping will be a great help to me with my project, therefore obviously, I will not let it pass it from my hands.

Given how SkyGod has recently took hold of another technology into their hands by using illegal means, I know how important it is to complete the Allard project faster than it was initially decided.

And this teambuilding trip will be the start of it. I'm sure I will have some progress on the project by the end of it.

Me, going on this trip with others, is that important.

"You can work on your brother's wedding with a relaxed mind. I will take care of everything for you." With that, I got on the bus and sat on the first seat near the window as I waved my hand at her and so did others.

The directors too took turn to provide her some assurance about the trip and so did the employees.

The bus started and only moved an inch when a loud 'wait' stopped it.

Everyone, including me, looked out of window and saw Alarming walking towards the bus and got on. She slowly walked to the only empty spot which was coincidentally beside me and sat on it.

"I am coming along as well." She declared and waved at the driver, gesturing him to start the vehicle.

"But your brother's engagement preparations?"

"That can wait for four more days. I cannot leave my people in your hands." Although the last sentence was just a mumble, I still heard it.

I was so heartbroken hearing that, that I immediately knew that my heart cannot be repaired anymore.

It just broke beyond repair.

"Don't you believe me at all?" Putting a hand on my heart, I asked with a hurtful expression.

Alarming looked at me and said 'No' so casually that I knew that she said that from the bottom of her heart.

Why? Why does she not believe me?

Why is she so resistant to my allure?

And along the thoughts, I came to a very strong decision.

I will win her heart and trust by the end of this camping trip. I will make a teambuilding bond with her that is more than just teambuilding.

And I'm sure that if I use my appeal in the right way, I will definitely win her.

It's just that – I didn't know that it was just my wishful thinking when I make such decision in my heart.
