"Hey," Boomer's voice fills my headphones as soon as I press the green button to accept the call from him. It was weird for him to be calling me because we have both been a bit busy recently and haven't had the chance to talk like we usually do. I pull off my hoodie and throw it over my shoulder and onto my bed before turning my attention back to Boomer who is strangely silent on his side of the call.

"We need to talk Dee," Boomer says and I feel goosebumps rise on my skin at the sentence knowing that nothing good ever comes when someone starts talking like that. I have been in relationships where we fought before and have had arguments with my parents and almost all of them have started with something along those lines.

"Uh," I say and lean back in my chair, not sure what he could exactly want to talk about. I try to think but we haven't spoken that much since Pummel Party which was like three days ago. I think that if I did something on stream to make him upset Twitter would have killed me and I haven't done anything to cause any drama between us I don't think. "Sure, what's up?" I ask carefully and there is another second of silence that lingers in the call.

"Dee," Boomer says my name and I frown again. I haven't gotten into any real arguments with my friends over the internet before and usually when fans try to start things I shut it down on my alternate Twitter or just ignore it until it dies down a few days later. People move on quickly but this is Boomer. "Why are you avoiding the issue?" He asks me with a small sigh and I raise my eyebrows at the question, trying to think of what he could be talking about but come up empty.

"There is no issue," I say slowly as I try to think over the events that have happened over the last few days. I still come up with nothing as I haven't done much due to not having a lot of inspiration. The Mario kart think with Dream and the others was a last minute thing that happened because I hit a sub goal. "And I'm not avoiding you Boomer." I say with a frown because if anything it's him who is avoiding me. I have texted him and asked if he was busy but don't get a response and when I do it's a short answer that kills the conversation.

"But you are," Boomer mumbles just loud enough for me to hear and anger rises in my chest. I'm not exactly a fan of being told what I am and am not doing because I know myself. I think I would know if I was intentionally not talking to someone or avoiding something.

"I'm not the one who has been acting differently since Pummel Party, Boomer." I tell him, getting genuinely annoyed with where this conversation has gone. Plus I know I'm not the only person who has noticed this. Usually when either of us are streaming we appear in the others but over the last few days we haven't and Twitter has caught onto that rather fast, coming up with their own theories.

"I'm not acting differently," Boomer tells me and it's clear that he is also getting annoyed. I glare at my monitor even though I can't see him and he can't see me but I could care less right now.

"Then what are you doing?" I snap back and there is another second of silence. It's a kind of silence that happens before a fight and it's fills the call with nothing but tension. It's weird to be like this with Boomer because usually when we argue it's over stream and it's a joke. We both are aware that whatever we say on stream is usually a joke but we haven't fought in a call before where no one else can hear.

"I'm," Boomer finally says and then stops again as if he was thinking over his words. I pick up my phone and check the time with an annoyed huff because I wanted to go to bed. I'm done with this conversation right now and don't feel like fighting. "Trying to figure something out."

"And that is?" I say raising my eyebrows a little as I glance back to my monitor.

"You really don't remember anything?" Boomer asks me and I scoff a little, knowing that he is talking about Pummel Party. I had accidentally drank too much with Punz, both of us trying to show off to our streams and friends so yeah, it was a bit of a mess.

"I blacked out," I laugh a little, sourness hidden in it because I was sure that he was well aware of that as he had been on the phone when I woke up with a miserable hangover. "I know that I ended stream before calling you and we talked for a while," I tell him bluntly because I know that after that I fell asleep.

"Do you remember what you said?" He asks and I try to think for a second. I hadn't thought about that much, mainly because I had assumed it was just drunk bullshit. I shake my head slightly because al I can remember is being on the call with him, not what either of us had said during it.

"No," I say carefully, confused as to why he was asking. "Why?" I ask because maybe it is my fault that we are fighting. Maybe I went too far with a joke or said something extremely stupid which made him want to stop talking to me. I frown a little as I try to think but come up empty again.

"It's not important," Boomer says with a small sigh and I roll my eyes.

"Well it clearly is," I tell him with a hint of bitterness in my voice because if I said something to hurt his feelings or make him upset or whatever then I want to know what I said to him. There is another few seconds of silence, the tension between us getting worse with the silence as well.

"Can we just,"

"No." I say because I know he is going to tell me that he wants to drop it but now I'm too far in. I want to know whatever the hell he is on about and why he won't just tell me if it means so much to him. It makes no sense. "What did I say?" I ask him angrily and he takes another second to respond instead of just telling me.

"Just stuff about streaming." He tells me, lying through his teeth and I feel my jaw tense at the obvious lie. When you talk to someone enough you can tell when they are lying and it's bullshit that he feels the need to lie. I glare at my monitor waiting for him to go on but he doesn't.

"Oh," I say bitterly and wait another second for him to go on but he doesn't which makes me roll my eyes. "Ok. I'm going to go then," I tell him and teach for my mouse so I can just shut my pc down and head to bed already. I'll probably end up talking to Will tomorrow and telling him about this because he is one of my best friends and I need to get my anger out in some way.

"Dee hold on," Boomer says right before I press the hang up button. I stop what I'm doing and stare at his Discord icon bitterly because I don't know what he wants me to wait for. If he is going to be upset about something he could at least tell me what it is so I can try to fix it.

"What?" I ask harshly, not wanting to be in the call anymore. Honestly right now I just want to go to sleep because most of my energy was used in the games with the Feral Boys and then there is whatever is happening right now. I just want to go back to sleep.

"I'm sorry," He apologized which makes me frown a little because he can apologize but can't simply tell me whatever I said. When I stay silent he continues to fill the painful silence that fills the call. "Can we stream tomorrow?" Boomer asks and I feel my anger felt into confusion because I'm not sure why he would want to stream with me while we are fighting. If whatever I said really hurt him that much to the point that he doesn't want to talk about it then why is he willing to spend hours on a call with me in front of thousands of people? It makes no sense. "Like before, bedwars where we go back and forwards where you bully the shit out of me and I try to gain your love." He laughs lightly as he recalls things from our first streams together and I feel a small smile appear on my face even at the memories as well.

"Haha," I laugh a little, still annoyed but can't help but grin at the memories of us doing shit in the game because we were trying to mess with each other for whole streams which lead to us losing almost every round. "Liked I'd ever love you." I joke, letting go my anger and deciding to just drop it. He wants to play bedwars with me on stream and we are talking now and that's what matters. We don't have to argue and can drop it.

"Haha," Boomer laughs in agreement but there is some kind of emotion mixed in with it as well that makes me frown a little. "Is that a yes?" He asks and I roll my eyes a little but still laugh.

"Yeah, it's a yes."
