EIGHTEEN
"Hobi!" Jimin bursts out as he jumps from his chair to greet the other. It feels like it has been ages since they last saw each other.
"Hi Jiminie! I have missed you!" the elder replies brightly, hugging Jimin back as the rest start standing up to greet him as well.
"How are you Hoseok? When did you arrive back from Japan?" Namjoon asks after having recieved a hug too.
"A week back or so?" he answers. He moves on and hugs them all until he reaches Yoongi and Jungkook.
"Jungkook right?" he asks and takes his hand out once again for jungkook to shake. This time though, Jungkook feels like there's too many eyes on him, so he grumbly returns the handshake.
"And I'm Yoongi," the smaller male replies, wondering slightly why Jungkook is immidiatly in a bad mood in Hoseok's presence.
"Nice to me you," he says and shows that smile again. Is he an angel or what?
Soon, Taehyung stands beside Yoongi and is ready to receive a hug.
The others are slowly walking towards the livingroom while talking, but Jungkook can't help but stare as the two males before him embrace each other.
Taehyung rests his chin on Hoseok's shoulder while he sighs loudly, clearly feeling comfortable in the other's arms.
Jungkook knows he doesn't have the right to be mad, but holy shit he's just imagining Hoseok stuck on the moon right now.
He hates to see Taehyung show so much affection for another man, even though Jungkook doesn't even know what's going on between them.
Yoongi starts dragging the younger along with him towards the living room.
"What's up with you?" he asks, slight worry in his voice. Jungkook sighs and tries to look grumpy, but Yoongi can see some sadness underneath.
"I'm convinced this Hoseok is Taehyung's long lost love or something..." he mumbles and looks down.
"Why don't you just ask Taehyung? If you're even near being close, you shouldn't be afraid to ask him."
"I'm not afraid..."
"Yeah, keep telling yourself that and you'll never get your man - come on," Yoongi says and they move inside the living room and finds a place to sit with the others.
Back in the kitchen, Taehyung and Hoseok has finally pulled apart, now just small-talking a little.
"I'm really glad you invited me Tae, even though I know... how it is for you to be around me," Hoseok says hesitantly.
He really wishes he could return Taehyung's feelings, but he just can't... he's just not built that way.
He has had this type of talk with Taehyung many times because he doesn't want their friendship to suffer from it. But to his surprise, Taehyung smiles brightly and shakes his head.
"I'm really glad you're here Hoseok. But you don't have to worry about that anymore," he says brightly.
Hoseok frowns slightly at that.
"What... what changed your mind?" he asks timidly. He has always had a hard time dealing with Taehyung's feelings because he loves the younger dearly as a friend, he has been scared to step over any lines.
Just as the sentence leave his mouth, they hear a loud sound of glasses against a table and laughters afterwards. From where they are standing, they can see Jungkook on the floor with vodka bottle that has the bottom in the air while the boys cheer.
Hoseok frowns before looking back at Taehyung who's looking somewhat fondly towards the living room before he giggles.
"My heart has already been stolen from someone else... I think," Taehyung whispers.
Hoseok's mouth falls into an O shape, his eyes shining and eyebrows raised. Of course, that's why Jungkook doesn't like him.
He smiles then and claps Taehyung's shoulder.
"I'm so happy for you Tae," he says and he totally means it. Maybe they'll be able to go back to being even closer friends now.
Taehyung nods and feels something light in his chest. Hoseok will always have a speciel place there, but he can't keep running for that love and he has known that for years.
Now he's just glad there might be some one to fill in the empty spot.
The two head for the living room and joins the others who are playing a drinking game already.
"You suck," is the only thing Jungkook says as Hoseok sits down beside him. But strangely enough, Hoseok just laughts with him.
"I like you too," he replies and Jungkook just looks at him weirdly before they go back to the game.
______
"No, no, no! Tae... Tae was like the kid who could befriend everyone because he was stupidly open and in the end, he just got hurt by those bitches! He was lucky we wanted to be friends with him-" Jimin slurs out.
It has been a few hours with drinking, dancing and talking, so most of them are pretty waisted by now.
"Why could I just imagine that," Jungkook mumbles.
"I wasn't stupid! I just wanted to be friendly," he defends himself.
"Sure," Jin chuckles beside him before dragging a drunk Yoongi into his lap and hugging him.
The younger simply grumbles and let's himself get pressed against Jin's muscular chest.
"Jungkook, Taehyung! You have to play beer pong against me and Hobi!" Jimin yells and starts pulling them by the arms.
They simply agree because you can't say no to drunken Jimin.
The game is simple, 6 cups at each end of the table, two table tennis balls and alot of alcohol.
"You're horrible!" Jimin yells at Taehyung as they begin and the elder clearly can't hit anything.
"Like you can do any better!" the other yells back and they continue to play clumsily.
Jungkook hits surprisingly many cups and so does Hoseok.
At one time, Hoseok and Taehyung chases the ball so the other team won't get an extra shot. Due to alcohol and the rather small living room they fall on top of each other and laughter accurs through the room.
The only one who's not laughing though is Jungkook who just huffs when Taehyung comes back beside him.
The elder tries to grab around his waist but Jungkook immidiatly wiggles his way out of the hold.
Taehyung frowns.
"What's the matter? You have been moody all day," Taehyung whispers as Jimin and Hoseok prepares to make their shots.
"Yeah, I wonder why," Jungkook spits and turns to look at the other team shoot towards their cups.
"Yes? I do wonder why... if you won't tell me what I'm doing wrong, I can't do anything about it?" Taehyung obliviously states.
Jungkook sighs.
"Figure it out then," he says and grabs the ball that comes their way and continues the game.
Taehyung bites his lip and wonders what might be wrong. Of course, he's too stupid to notice that Jungkook is jealous.
In his eyes, the younger is just being his normal diva self, even though that's not the case.
They keep playing, no more touches or anything between the two youngest. Both of them hates it, yet none of them takes their time to fix it.
As expected, Jimin and Hoseok win greatly and cheers loudly for the whole countryside to hear.
Namjoon has been on the sideline, watching along and accepting Jimin as he jumps on him and hugs him tightly as usual.
On the couch, Jin and Yoongi has been making out for the past hour and to say Hoseok was confused was an understatement, but Namjoon took his time to explain the details.
"We win, you lose!" Jimin giggles and pokes Jungkook's chest. The younger tries to ignore him, even though he knows he has always been a bad loser.
"I'm gonna go get some fresh air," he sighs and grabs a beer bottle before he heads for the door.
Taehyung looks after him, a somewhat sad expression painting his features.
"Go after him you pussy," Jimin says and Hoseok nods in agreement while giving Taehyung a push in the back.
The brunette sighs but accepts the idea. He gives them a small smile before running after Jungkook outside.
