She loved him, and he broke her.

And that is the reason Y/N is practically running down the rainy streets at almost midnight to escape him.

Escape who? You might ask.

Well that would be her now officially ex-boyfriend, Nick.

The asshole that blatantly lied to her face after cheating on her. The asshole that Trevor warned her she should leave. The asshole that has been abusing her for weeks.

But Trevor didn't know any of that because she tried so hard to hide the bruises and marks he left on her from everyone in the group, even her best friend.

Y/N knew she didn't want to go back home with him but she also knew of the forming bruise around her eye. At this point she didn't care, she just needed her best friend, hopefully he was still awake at this hour.

Now standing outside of his door she takes a deep breath and knocks a few times, shivering at her soaking clothes clinging onto her body.

A few moments later Trevor opens up the door, confused as to why someone was knocking on his door at almost one in the morning before he notices the face of his soaking wet best friend, bruised and covered in glitter.

"What happened Y/N? Did you walk all the way here in the rain? And why are you covered in glitter?" Trevor asks her curiously before hearing her sniffling, pulling her into his apartment and wrapping a blanket around her shaking form.

"Uh, Nick. He cheated on me and got pissed because I caught him, he blatantly lied to my face about it after and then I b-broke up with him. He was drunk again, and he hit me and threw things at me. Including my art things, which is why there's glitter. And yes, I walked all the way here in the rain because I don't want to stay there anymore and I knew you'd let me stay with you." She rambles out, trying to answer all of his questions at once.

"That son of a bitch- I'm going to beat his ass for doing this to you." Trevor says as he pulls her into a gentle hug, "But of course you can stay, first let me get you some dry clothes and you can grab a warm shower okay?"

"Y-Yeah, that sounds nice." Y/N replied as her teeth chattered slightly, so ready to get out of her wet clothes and warm up.

Y/N heads to his bathroom, dropping the blanket around her and leaving the door open so Trevor could bring her dry clothes as she got the water warm enough to her liking, next attempting to grab a towel out of the cabinet, not being able to reach it.

Trevor walks in and smiles a bit, reaching above her to grab the towel for her before handing her a pair of his sweats and one of his Cow Chop t-shirts.

"Thank you Trevor, I shouldn't be that long. I appreciate you letting me stay with you." She says before hugging him, still in her soaking wet clothes but Trevor didn't mind it.

"You don't have to thank me, It's what I'm here for. Have a nice shower Y/N." He says with a smile as their hug subsides, leaving the bathroom and closing the door behind him.

Once Trevor shut the door she quickly takes off her freezing clothes that were still sticking to her glitter covered body before hopping into the warm shower, putting some shampoo and conditioner in her hair before lathering up her wash rag and cleaning her body, washing off after and stepping out of the shower to dry off.

After she quickly dries herself off she puts on Trevor's sweatpants and t-shirt, looking at herself in the mirror as she sighs at the sight of her now black eye and bruised arms. Y/N quickly braids her hair into pigtails, thankful that she'd left plenty of her hair ties in his medicine cabinet.

Trevor's sat on the couch tiredly, watching a random show on tv while he waited for her to finish up with her shower. When she comes walking into the living room he feels his heart skip a few beats the minute he notices her in his clothes.

"How was your shower?" Trevor asks sleepily.

"It was nice, aside from the fact that I almost fell asleep in the shower." She says with a slight giggle before plopping on the couch next to Trevor.

"Do you want to go sleep then? You can have my bed and I'll sleep in here on the couch because I don't mind." Trevor says, looking over at her.

"Trevor. You should know this by now, I don't mind sharing your bed with you. It is your bed after all." Y/N says before a yawn escapes her light pink lips.

"That's true, lets go then because I am tired." He replies before getting up off the couch and switching the television off.

Y/N yawns again before a small pout makes it's way onto her face, the sore feeling in her legs finally evident since she sat down.

"Trevoooor, can I have a piggy back ride?" She says jokingly before giggling.

"Alright, hop on then." Trevor says as he chuckles a bit.

"Seriously? I didn't think you actually would." Y/N says before hopping on his back, her arms around his neck as he wraps his arms around her legs.

"Why? Piggy back rides are the shit." He says as he pushed his bedroom door open with his foot and as soon as they're in his room he shuts the door with his foot.

"Thank you Trevor, my legs were killing me from the walk or pretty much jog over here." She says defeated as Trevor gently sits her on the bed before turning on some cartoons for them to watch as they fall asleep.

Once he finishes he crawls into bed with her, looking over to notice she's already fallen asleep on him.

Trevor scoots a little bit closer to her, wrapping an arm around her waist before drifting off to sleep for the night.
