Okay, so no matter how hard I tried, the banner with maroon looked horrible. Like, it would not work in my favor, as you can see below. 

So I went, hey, why not make the font maroon and add to that 

I personally fell in love with this one ^

I know it's not exactly what you requested, so please let me know if you have a particular background you want me to work with.
