1st TUTORIAL

App(s) : Creative Shape, Phonto & Superimpsoe

01 | Open up Creative Shape or any other app that has round shape. Fyi, you can do this on Phonto too but I have a reason on why I chose not to. After that, save the image.

02 | Go to Phonto and add the image.

03 | Click the three stacked lines on the left bottom and go to Add Item.

04 | Scroll down until you find the outlined circle and add it to your image.

05 | Fit the circle into your icon. I usually set the thickness at stroke so it won't look too thin. Save the image when done.

06 | Open Superimpose and import the image as the background.

07 | Attach a foreground which is a picture that fits with the theme you want.

08 | Go to Mask and select the round masking tool called Ellipse. Drag it until you make a perfect round and double tap to save mask.

09 | Invert the mask.

10 | Go to Transform and resize the foreground until it becomes smaller before you drop shadow and merge.

11 | Repeat Step 8 to Step 12 until it looks somewhere like this:

12 | Add a PNG figure as your foreground image. I prefer Ariana Grande for these type of edits, you can choose whoever you like.

13 | Fit the png into your icon, don't merge yet!

14 | Go to Filter and set the brightness to max until the png turns into a white silhouette, make sure you're editing the foreground.

15 | Go back to Transform and merge the foreground.

16 | Open Phonto again and go to Plain Image, select the white one and add your text.

17 | Go back to Superimpose and add the text you made on Phonto as the new foreground.

18 | Select Transform and go to the setting symbol - the one on the top right - and choose Multiply mode.

19 | Fit the text to your white silhouette until it satisfies you.

20 | Go to Mask and select the Masking tool called Lasso - the one that looks like a rope - and start removing the oversized part of the text. Merge when done.
