She was only slightly sad because she knew Harry Potter most likely wouldn't listen to what she said and instead listen to the Weasley boy. She knew it wouldn't work out for a friendship for long, but she could only hope it would fro futures sake.

Two months later
Loretta's POV

I was goodish friends with Harry Potter now, but he was hesitant because of what Ronald said, but he trusted me to an extent so far. And that was my goal, secrets be held, but there was reasons for me befriending him even if he was still weary of me. I didn't mind Ron either, but Hermione was rather annoying and not because she was muggle born, but because she thought she knew everything. All because she read as much books as she could over the summer after getting her letter, she could talk your ear off at best. But it's not that i didn't like her because of her blood status because I hated that feeling of being discouraged because of my blood status. Even if the Greenwood family is part of the sacred 29 pure blood families, it didn't mean i shared the same feelings. Although that was to an extent because i have found that some muggles and muggle born witches or wizards to be rather talkative and annoying at best.

Currently heading towards potions class with pansy and Theo we took our usual seats, but with my bigger more special abilities. I overheard Ron, Hermione and Harry whispering about something and I couldn't help but want to know what, so i zeroed in with my enhanced hearing.

"She's definitely tricking you harry" Hermione said

"No, you just don't know her enough" harry defended

"Have you heard about her parents, what they do, my father told me their bad people and they were Slytherins as well, i told you harry she's bad news" Ron said

I felt hurt inside, wondering if Harry would keep defending me or not and seeing what they had to say.

"I don't think so" harry said

"Harry just wait and see, she's going to turn on you the minute she gets the chance" Hermione said

"I don't think she's all bad, plus nor is daphne Greengrass, she's sweet i don't know how they are Slytherins" harry said

"You have to cut the crazy out of your life before you end up hurt" Hermione said

I whimpered holding back tears but before i could hide Theo and pansy both noticed and looked over at me.

"Lottie?" Theo said gently

"What's wrong Lottie?" Pansy asked

"They, ummm their talking bad about me" i said looking at the golden trio

"Oh i'll show them" Theo went to get up

"Teddy no, they don't know much about me enough, let's see how things go if it continues I'll handle it" i said

"Promise if it get's worse you'll tell us" Theo said

"I promise teddy" i said

"Good" pansy said

Three days later

Loretta's POV

I was walking down the halls when i heard whispering coming from around the corner so i got curious and decided to hide and listen.

"Ron she's fine, come on why do you think she's crazy?" Harry said

"Because did you not see her hex that poor Huffelpuff just because she was flirting with Theodore nott" Ron said

It wasn't because she was flirting it was because she was making fun of harry, me being close and friends with harry. They didn't know that, but they would, yet if i snuck around and told them then they wouldn't be happy about it. So i waited, waited to see what they would say if anything more.

"I don't believe she did it for that reason" harry said

"She also said hermione talks too much and how annoying she is" Ron kept trying to convince harry

"I've been nothing but nice you, why are you being mean to me Ronald?" I asked sadly teary eyed as i turned the corner

"Loretta" Ron said shocked

"I didn't hex the girl for flirting, i hexed her because she made fun of harry and was being mean to me about befriending harry and what she considered a blood traitor" i hissed slightly

"See i told you Ron" harry said

"But you called hermione annoying" Ron kept trying

"Why are you being so mean to me though, is it because I'm a Slytherin, are you trying to convince harry because you think all because he who should not be named was Slytherin, it's not everyone in the house that will turn out bad Ronald, I've tried befriending you, but why aren't you willing to see the good in me?" I asked him
