Before everything

"Mum look, I'm pregnant...Jessie and i are going to have a baby" a young women said rushing to her mother

"Oh how wonderful honey, this calls for a celebration don't you think Robby?" The older women said

"Yes, finally were going to have a grand baby" the older man Robby said

"Oh how wonderful, i shall inform Jessie, the Malfoy's, Greengrass's, Parkinson's, zabini's, and Berkshire's" the young girl said happily

"Oh yes, invite them over for the celebration this is wonderful news Abigail" the older women said

"Franny, that is quite a lot isn't it?" Robby asked

"No this is too good of news, we'll have everyone over for dinner and we can announce it then" Franny said

"Mum, we don't even know the gender yet" Abigail said

"How far along are you?" Franny asked

"Maybe a month and a half" Abigail thought about it

"And your just now telling us?" Franny gasped

"Well, Jessie was supposed to be here, but he had to do something important first so i told him I'd tell you today before we forget" Abigail said

"Fair enough dear, where is that boy anyway?" Robby asked

"Here, did i miss it?" Jessie asked entering the house

"Oh Jessie congratulates on becoming a father" Franny said happily

"I did miss it" Jessie frowned

"It's ok honey i only told them five minutes ago" Abigail stated

"I'm sorry i was so behind, the order was having issues with something" Jessie said being very vague about the matter

But she knew, Abigail knew the truth, knew what he was really doing and it wasn't something her mother nor her father would approve of. He was doing something that not many people were supposed to know about and if they told her parents. Well they'd be banished, abandoned and they couldn't have that not now especially with the baby on the way. Was it selfish, maybe, but it was for good reasons, they wanted to be happy and wealthy but in order to do that, they had to do what was necessary to survive on their own. Yes, they had their ancestors money and parents money, but that didn't mean they had enough to get what was necessary for their own wanting's. So they did whatever they had to just to keep themselves alive, to be friends with who they were friends with and do what they needed. But that aside, she couldn't be happier, she would have told Jessie's parents but they both died recently and that's why Jessie was stuck doing what he was.

He had to carry his parents reputation all the way back to the top when they died because if he didn't he'd be ashamed of himself and his life. The choices he had to make were precise and important to move, like a game of chess every move had to be calculated and specific. All of it had to be precise and carefully thought out or things wouldn't work out and everything he's build lately would come crashing down on them. But everything was going well, every chess piece was in the right place and nothing absolutely nothing would reck his plans, their plans for the future. So they did what was asked of them, and they celebrated with family, with friends and they did whatever her parents thought necessary when it came to the baby. At the end of three months they could find out the baby's gender, but they were nervous to find out. What if it wasn't what they wanted, i mean what if it wasn't what they were, there was a slight chance, but it was rare.

They wanted a baby, healthy, powerful like them and they had to have Greenwood blood in them, there was legends based on it. If they got a girl, she would most likely carry the special gene within her, but if they had a boy he wouldnt be carrying the gene. It only really ran on the female side of the family genetics side of things, but they wanted either gender. They really wanted a boy, but at the same time they wanted a girl for a simple reason, power and with power they could climb the ladder in reputations. So when they went to the doctors finding out it was a girl they were overjoyed and now had to decide on a perfect name for her. They had a list of few names, but it was important just like a piece of the game, you had to have everything perfect, everything right or the moves of the game would change.

So they listed a few, Loretta, primrose, Katherine, and Vanessa, those were their four options, but if they picked one. Next was a middle name, which was harder to decide because it had to go with the first name and last name well. So after days of deciding, maybe even a good month they finally had a decision made on the first name, Loretta would be her first name. And now they had to choose a middle name that fit perfectly with the name Loretta, they went through various names, but nothing stuck, until they got down to the fifth page of names. Right at the bottom was the name Emery, Loretta Emery Greenwood, that would be the baby's name for sure they just knew.
