These are some samples for the covers. This is a very simply type of covers with only three components.

Simple. Adjust the hue and saturation of the model and background till they match. There are also great photographs for you to take where you only need to add the text. You can overlay some texture as well if it seems fit. This can be used to romance novels, more is a simplistic approach. 

Also remember that the text must match the vibe of the whole cover, otherwise it will be a big mismatch. 

This one I took a photo that hay already letters written in the sand. To remedy this, Photoshop has a tool called the clone tool. Great for making corrections in photos. Keep exploring folks!
