What if Jimin wanted it? The child. Sure, they said no, but what if they only said it for the sake of their career?
Jin saw Jungkook pacing. He's never done that before. Jin looked at Taehyung and he looked incredibly guilty. Their new manager was there with Bang-PD. Namjoon looked uneasy, and Hoseok looked genuinely unwell in the face.
As soon as Jungkook saw Jin, he rushed over. “V hyung told me, please tell me Jimin hyung is letting me see them, please - I-I have to see them.” Jungkook said in a singular breath. “Jeongguk-ssi, calm down.” Jin advised, placing his hands on Jungkook's chest. “You aren't seeing them like this.” The older one eyed Taehyung, and the younger one sunk in his seat. In just a few seconds, he brought his shirt over his face, hiding.
“Oh hyung-ah, I promise I'm not angry, I just need to see them, make sure they're okay, and -” “Jeongguk, you can't have a mental breakdown.” Jin interrupted. “I just got Jimin-ah comfortable, and calmed down from everything. They went through this first, yeah? Take a deep breath.” He told him. Jungkook seemed too anxious to calm down. “You aren't seeing Jimin-ah until I can't see your literal heartbeat in your neck. Calm down, Jungkook.” Jin motioned up, sighing. Jungkook reached up with his right hand and felt the side of his neck. His heart was indeed racing faster than what he thought. “But -” “No buts. I'm not stressed right now, but you're making me stressed.” Jin joked lightly. He made Jungkook sit down for a while, then made his way over to Taehyung.
“Taehyung-ssi. That was not of you to say.” Jin told him sternly. Taehyung huffed and looked up. “I know, I'm so sorry, I'm a complete asshole -” “Yes you are, for that. Jimin said they didn't want anyone knowing but you, and you flipped on them, then told everyone.” Jin interrupted. “Why did you tell them?” He asked, out of desperation. Jimin was not going to be happy.
“It slipped out, hyung, I was having an anxiety attack, I feel like shit, I'm aware.” Taehyung sighed heavily, hiding his face again. “Seokjin-ssi,” Their new manager called. “We need to speak with you.” He continued. Jin glared at Taehyung before walking over, seperate from his members.
“How's Jimin doing?” Bang-PD asked first. “Why would you care?” Jin asked, smartly. “I still care for them, for all of you. Please, let's get past this.” Bang-PD told him. “You threatened my career and my member's -” “How is Jimin-ssi doing, Seokjin-ah?” His new manager interrupted. Jin had forgotten his name already. “They're doing okay, now that I was with them. They shouldn't see anyone else at the moment, it took a while to get them calmed down.” Jin explained. “Did they miscarry? I'm only asking for clarification.” The new manager asked. “I'm sorry, what was your name again? I'm so scatter-brained at the moment, I'm sorry.” Jin huffed and used both of his hands to brush his hair back, away from his face. “Soojun, Kim.” He responded. “Okay, thank you. Yes, they did lose it, but that doesn't mean anything huge, right?” Jin tried to re-center. “No -” “Of course it's huge, Seokjin-ssi.” Soojun interrupted, fixing the black glasses on his face.
He was much slimmer than Bang-PD, and was about as fit as Taehyung and Jin. He was wearing a white T-shirt and a black zip-up jacket with a necklace. For some reason, Jin wondered, he was also wearing dress pants.
“I'm not sure if you've ever dealt with these things before, but it's going to take a toll on Jimin-ssi's emotional health. Even if they think they don't care, eventually they will, and we will need to be there for him.” Soojun explained more. Namjoon and Hoseok overheard. “Jiminie uses they/them.” Jin commented. “It's fine, he only messed it up once. Give him a break.” Bang-PD told Jin. “What is that supposed to mean?” Jin snapped back. “You can't expect a new person to pick up on different pronouns immediately.” Bang-PD explained. “Please, no more of this.” Soojun stepped between the two. The other members eventually inched closer to eavesdrop, seeing Jin getting upset. They knew by his body language; he was fiddling with the hem of his shirt, and constantly changing which leg he rested his weight on. Jin was the type of person to get moving when he was upset.
“We are here for Jimin right now, yeah?” Soojun asked both Jin and Bang-PD. “I know I don't exactly have much authority at the moment, nor all of your respect; it must be earned, I'm aware.” He looked to Jin. “But I'm sure we can all agree that Jimin-ssi needs us at the moment. Arguing is the last thing they need. Please, hold on for a bit longer.” Soojun told the two of them.
It was quiet for a moment.
“Okay.” Jin agreed after taking a deep breath. Another moment passed, and Soojun dismissed him. He immediately began talking to Bang-PD.
“So?” Yoongi asked Jin after he collapsed into an uncomfortable emergency room chair. There wasn't much to it: a pale green color, wooden armrests and some lint scattered around it. “So, what?” Jin asked Yoongi. “I'm just worried for Jimin-ah. That's all.” Yoongi spoke slowly. “You think I'm not?” Jin asked. “No, I didn't say that. Nevermind.” Yoongi relaxed back, turning his head away from Jin. The older one closed his eyes, not able to take much more.
“Jeongguk-ah, you may come back to visit Jimin-ssi now.” One of the nurses called him over. Jungkook let go of Taehyung and rushed to follow the nurse. They disappeared between large doors, and the others could only hope Jungkook didn't make Jimin more upset.
