About twenty minutes later, there were two knocks on the hotel door. "Don't worry, I'll get it." Jin gently said, seeing Yoongi flinch and jerk away. The eldest opened the door after seeing a staff member with a bag of food.

"Thank you." Jin bowed to them and quickly closed the door. "We got some food~" Jin walked over to Yoongi and set the ice cream down. Yoongi sat up, criss-cross, and put his hands in his lap, waiting patiently. Jin cooed and opened the bag. "Here's your spoon," He handed Yoongi a smaller spoon, and Yoongi happily held it, his eyes glued on the bag. Jin took out their ice cream and handed Yoongi his. "Don't eat all of it, I don't want you getting sick." Jin told him. Yoongi nodded quickly and tried to find the opening. "Want help?" Jin offered, but Yoongi shook his head. Jin opened his, slowly, making sure Yoongi didn't need help.

He laughed when Yoongi started biting at the plastic, and he surprisingly got the lid loose. Yoongi put the plastic film next to him on the hotel bed and now struggled with the lid. It was on good, Jin even struggled for a moment. He wasn't sure if Yoongi's strength would change, like Jungkook's did.

"You got it!" Jin praised when Yoongi tore the lid off, and it fell into his lap. Yoongi just smiled widely and stabbed the ice cream with his spoon. They ate quietly, Yoongi content.

"Do you like it?" Jin asked after a few minutes. Yoongi nodded and lazily licked the dripping ice cream from his lips. The eldest giggled at the cute behavior.

"Do you want anything else to eat or drink?" Jin asked. Yoongi shook his head and focused back on his ice cream. "We'll have something more later. Let's watch some shows, yeah?" Jin suggested. Yoongi agreed and sat next to Jin along the headboard of the bed while he turned on the TV and relaxed.

They sat with each other, contentful until there were knocks on the door. Yoongi again jumped up and turned towards the door. "I'll get it..." Jin wasn't sure how to address Yoongi, so that's all he said. "Hyung-ah, we're back!" It was Jungkook. Jin opened the door but didn't let Jungkook in fully. "Let me in~" Jungkook immediately whined. "We're watching -" "Hey, Jungkook-ah." Yoongi called out from behind Jin. The older one turned around, and Yoongi was sitting in the middle of the bed now and cleaned up as if they weren't eating a thing.

Jin stepped aside, and Jungkook quickly dashed for the bathroom. "Are you okay?" He asked Yoongi quietly. "Yeah, just a little unfocused. I'm alright." Yoongi explained. "And you don't want me telling Jungkook, right?" Jin asked. Yoongi agreed.

Once Jungkook was out, he sat down with Yoongi. "We went shopping, but I didn't get anything. Jimin hyung got some things." He wasn't sure if he was allowed to say the situation, so he decided it might be best to stay quiet. "Is he alright? I thought he- damnit, they, I'm sorry." Jin sighed with himself and started over. "Are they alright? I heard they weren't feeling good this morning." The eldest corrected himself. Jungkook smiled. "Yeah, I think they're doing okay. They're going to look into a compression top for the next performance; they're starting to feel super insecure about their chest now, and they said it will be difficult to fix it." The youngest explained. "How come?" Yoongi asked, not wanting to seem like he wasn't listening. "Jimin hyung will have to get surgery for their chest, and finding a surgeon will be difficult since Korea isn't very accepting." Jungkook added on. Yoongi nodded.

"I wish we could just go home, and Jimin would be comfortable with themself. It makes me sad." Jin sighed and leaned on Jungkook. Jungkook smiled more, feeling special. "Well, the good thing is that we only have two weeks left before we're home. Let's try and see the bright side." Jungkook encouraged. Jin and Yoongi agreed, and they spent most of the day cuddling close. Jungkook was happy Yoongi was up for physical comfort.

Jimin wore compression tops while performing but was at a loss when they were off stage. Learning how to safely bind, as the action was called, it made sense for them to only do so during performances. The concert was two hours, plus the four hours before the show to prepare. Starting off binding for six hours wasn't ideal, but Jimin had to tell themself it would all be over soon.

When the members finally returned to Korea, they all slept for a day, being so jet-lagged. The next morning, Jin found Jimin sitting at the kitchen counter while on the phone with a notebook and pencil in front of them. Jin sat down next to them.

"Mhm, the sixteenth, got it." Jimin wrote down a date, which was in two months. After a while, they hung up and turned to Jin. "What's that for?" Jin asked first. "I've spent the entire morning talking with my doctor and some people at the hospital. I'm going to have top surgery in two months!" Jimin celebrated, a huge smile on their face. "Oh, wow! That's awesome!" Jin gave them a hug, and Jimin just kept smiling. "But, I thought you said that finding a surgeon would take long and be super hard...?" The older one proposed. "Well, it's not as bad as I thought. I explained to my doctor that it's preventing me from eating well, sometimes, and it is due to the medication I'm taking. He did say I've had the condition since birth, so they're able to do it without it seeming like another type of surgery. I'm just super grateful that this is happening!" Jimin explained for a while.

"So, what exactly happens? What is top surgery?" Jin asked. Jimin smiled, and they were happy to explain. "It's technically called a mastectomy, and they'll be removing the breast tissue on my chest so I won't have breasts anymore. That makes me most dysphoric." Jimin told him. "There will be scars on my chest, but I don't care, and depending on what they look like, I might put a tattoo around it, like flowers or something like some transgender people do. It's really pretty." They added on, turning to Jin. "Do you have to prepare for anything?" Jin asked curiously. "Nope, not really. It's pretty much no smoking. However, this does mean I'll likely have to start taking testosterone instead of the estrogen; that's what's basically making them bigger." Jimin told him. "Oh, okay...so does this mean you'll identify as a guy again, or still non-binary?" Jin asked.

Jimin knew it wasn't an insult. They knew Jin was just curious and wanting to know as much as possible so he could understand Jimin better. However, there was something that hurt Jimin a little about what Jin had asked.

"Maybe, I'm not really sure..." Jimin got quiet, and Jin knew he had said something wrong. "I'm sorry - I'll accept you for whoever you want to be, I didn't mean to make you upset -" "I know, I don't even know why it made me upset. But it's alright, there's still a lot to consider." Jimin interrupted and gave a small smile to Jin. "I'm only asking because I'm curious, but have you thought of getting surgery for down there?" Jin asked, trying not to feel awkward. Jimin put their head in their hands and huffed. "I mean, I've thought of getting bottom surgery, but it's... that part seems scary to me. They disconnect and reconnect nerves, and what if something goes wrong and I won't be able to do certain things anymore? I don't know what I want for the lower half of me." They explained. "That's okay - like you said, there's still a lot to consider and a lot of time." Jin tried to help while he rubbed Jimin's back.

"Yeah, you're -" Jimin was cut off by Jin's phone ringing. Jin answered, turning slightly away from Jimin when he saw that it was Yoongi. "What's up?" He asked. "H-hyung, could you please come up to my room with Yoongi?" It was Hoseok whose voice came through the other end, and his voice was shaky. "What's wrong, are you okay?" Jin asked, starting to worry. Jimin perked up. "I don't know." Hoseok told him. Jin got up quickly, and Jimin followed to Hoseok and Yoongi's room.

"What happened?" Jin asked. When he saw Yoongi, he was sitting against the wall with his knees to his chest, holding something tightly in his hands. "I don't know, I woke up and he was there, he won't talk or move." Hoseok explained, sitting on his bed on the other side of the room. He didn't want to get too close.

"Yoongi, it's Jin hyung." Jin slowly approached Yoongi and gently put a hand on Yoongi's knee. "What's wrong?" He asked. Yoongi then started crying and shaking. Jimin stood by Hoseok. Jin wondered if he was having a breakdown, or maybe a bad dream, possibly. "What do you have there?" Jin asked again, grabbing Yoongi's hand. Yoongi slowly opened his palm, revealing a short knife. "Yoongi-" "Just wanna h-hold it." Yoongi sniffled into his arms, and his hand closed tightly again. Jin's heart sped up in his chest. "No, would you please let me see it?" The eldest grabbed Yoongi's hand, but Yoongi only increased his grip. Jin saw blood dripping between Yoongi's fingers. He had cut his palm already. "I'm not mad, I promise. I'm not upset or scared, I just want you to be safe." Jin tried to tell him. Yoongi kept crying quietly, and his hand did not move. "What are you thinking right now, Yoongi-ya?" He prompted, trying to better understand.

"No, no..." Yoongi mumbled, lightly shaking his head. "Hey, you can tell me. Don't be scared, I'm not upset." Jin explained once more. "I just wanna go, l-let me go!" Yoongi raised his voice at Jin, and it made the three others flinch back. Yoongi never yelled.

Jin tried to push through the shock. "No, I won't let you go." He shook his head. "You have so much more to live for -" "Shut up," Yoongi cried out. His arm moved more towards his face, and Jin saw through his knees as the knife was only two inches away from his eyes. "Yoongi, no!" Jin tackled him, pulling him to the ground on his side and fighting him for the knife. "No!" Yoongi's broken yell filled the room, and blood from his hand dripped onto Jin's clothes. Jimin rushed over, finally able to piece together what was happening. Yoongi tacked Jin back, and Jin's right finger was sliced, trying to pry Yoongi's hand off of the object. "Yoongi hyung, stop it!" Jimin tried to get between the two, but it was no use, as Jin was now on top of Yoongi and frantically fighting for the sharp knife.

"Yoongi, this isn't how it ends!" Jin shouted, and Yoongi tried to kick Jin off of him, not wanting to let go. "Whatever you're feeling now, it's not permanent, just let go of the knife, please -" Yoongi turned over and accidentally slammed Jin into the floor, both of them making a loud thud throughout the dorm. Suddenly, the knife dropped to the floor, and Jin's hands frantically waved up to Yoongi's face as he sat up. "Y-Yoongi," Jin's heart dropped to his stomach, watching as blood trickled down the younger one's face.

Jimin quickly grabbed the bloody knife and threw it far away from Yoongi and Jin. "It hurts," Yoongi whimpered, relaxing and crying into Jin, covering his cut face. "Come on, I-I can fix it, it'll be alright." Jin pulled Yoongi and himself up from the floor, and hurried the two to the bathroom. Jimin and Hoseok got a quick glance and felt sick to their stomachs. The knife had cut a long slice over Yoongi's eye, straight down, just barely missing it on the right side of his face, as if he had been clawed by an animal.
