The judges absolutely adored the background of this cover, and the way you blended together textures was amazing, however we think that the photo and text could have been better. You can see that the people haven't been properly cut and the topaz looks slightly weird. Also, the mood was sad, which is the opposite of what you gave us. The title should have been bigger and stood out more from the rest of the text, however apart from that this entry was just incredible!

Third Place:

We loves how this cover looked! The font, the picture - it was all perfect, except maybe the placement of the text. We think that it would have looked better if the text was in the center, and we also think  that the color scheme is a bit weird, and it could have been brighter. Other than that it was great!

Second Place:

We really love cover styles like this, however it does break some rules. Like this cover is a lot "darker" than we wanted, and it definitely does not look sad, and they don't really look like a couple, but we just loved the style of this cover so much, that we knew it was a winner! We loved what you did with the text, however the letters look a bit bunched up.  Also the people are different sizes - Selena is smaller than Ansel Elgort. However it was still beautiful!

First Place:

Once again, a minimal cover became a winner! For some strange reason we really love simple covers like this. It makes everything look cleaner and more appealing. However the placement of the text was weird. The distance between your name and the title is bigger than the distance between our name and the title, and it's little things like that that can ruin the whole cover, however aside from that, we loved it!

The color scheme and style of this cover was what attracted us most to this cover, however the text was what stopped it from winning higher. We loved the color and font of the subtitle, but the rest could have been better. If you had increased the text spacing a bit, and placed it in the center, it would have looked much better! Also it is quite pixelated, and the image in the phone, is badly erased, but it is still beautiful!

Third Place:

We adored how the image you chose, and the fonts, but we think that you could have found a less blurry image, and you used more than three fonts which you should never do! Also we think that you tried to make it more complex by adding the heart and waves, but it looks a bit out of place, and the cover would have been better without it. But it was still lovely!

Second Place:

This cover got so many compliments we knew it had to win something! We loved the sticky notes theme, the silhouettes of the couple and basically everything about it! However this looks less like Teen Fiction, and more like a Middle Grade book, which is why it wasn't first.
