"What is it now.."Nandini rolled her eyes as Manik called her name once again. "..Manik.."

"Woh mujhe yeh samajh nahi aa raha..."Manik asked too innocently however unfortunately for him this time Nandini wasn't fool anymore.

"Samajh nahi aa raha ya.."she raised her eyebrows while she folded her hands across her chest. "..ya tum samajhna chahte nahi ho.."

"Matlab.."Manik asked making a cute face.

"Matlab yeh Mr.Malhotra ki na toh mai shakal se bewakoof dikhti hu..aur na hi mai hu.."she said these words so seriously that even Manik realised that indeed his act won't work anymore. "Ab batao chakkar Kya hai..."she asked with her no nonsense attitude.

Since he knew it was of no use to pretend anymore so he chose to go with the truth. "..batana kya hai..tum subah se mujhse kaam karwa rahi ho..ek minute bhi mujhse thik se baat nahi ki..bas order pe order di jaa rahi ho..aur ab lunch me bhi tum sabke sath lunch karne jaa rahi ho.."he made a cute face.

"..ek baar bhi mere bare me nahi socha..ek baar tumhe yeh nahi laga ki chalo lunch ke bahane hi sahi let's spend some time with Manik..matlab meri toh koi value hi nahi hai na.."

The way he was complaining he looked so adorable that Nandini was finding it too difficult to not jump on him and kiss the living daylight out of him.

However she stopped herself because she knew that was at SPACE with probably too many eyes and ears on them (their friends for example who have a habit to make an entry at the wrong time)..on top of that except for Cabir no other member of Fab5 knew anything about Nandini and Manik so she can't take the risk to let them know about them when they are busy making out.

So that's why she controlled herself and simply smiled while she continued to watch Manik's cute antics.

Manik expected to hear something from her but when he didn't he looked at her only to find her smiling. "Ab yeh colgate smile dikhane ka Kya reason hai..Kya hua.."

"Kuch nahi..bas tumhari complaint ki list end hone ka wait kar rahi hu.."she was trying too hard to keep a straight face.

"..achcha.."he scowled at her. "..aur phir kya karogi once it end..bolo.."

"Simple.."she stood up "..lunch karungi aur Kya.."she shrugged.

"Wah.."Manik couldn't believe it. "..matlab mai bhale hi bhukha rahu..you just don't care..par tumhe lunch karna hai.."

"Of course..food is life.."she replied.

"Yeh bhi Parth Samthaan se sikha hai Kya tumne..being a bhukkar.."Manik asked.

"The word is foodie..Manik.."Nandini corrected him. "..and by the way he isn't a bhukkar...he is The Tharki.."

"What.."Manik was confused. "..now what does that mean.."

"..tumse kya matlab..chodo na.."Nandini shrugged. "Tum Monster bano...tharki banney ka talent tumme nahi hai.."she said dismissively.

Manik was about to argue when all of a sudden the door of the room open.

They both turned around only to find the a man who works in the Canteen coming towards them.

But what caught Manik's attention was that he was carrying a food tray.

As soon as he reached them Nandini took the tray of food from him. "Thank you so much bhaiya.."she smiled at him as he said "..Arey mam it's my duty..anything else."

"No bhaiya...this would be enough.."saying this she paid him.

"Thank you Mam.."then the guy looked at Manik "..thank you Sir.."Manik simply nodded and then the guy walked away from there.

"Yeh sab.."Manik asked as Nandini kept the food between them. "Khana hai..dimag ke sath aankh bhi kharab hui hai kya..jo itna yummy food dikhai nahi de raha.."

"Tum soup ko yummy kahti ho..."he raised his eyebrows. "Of course..it's healthy..it's looking good..and on top of that it's smelling good too..aur jab zabardast bhook lagti hai na toh har khana yummy lagta hai.."

"Aur food delivery option me khali yahi tha..toh I ordered this for us.."Saying this she sat down and gestured him to sit as well. Sighing he simply followed through. "But Nandini..why this food..come on..we will get you something better to eat..let's go.."

"Of course tumhe issey better food mil jaega..but kya waha tumhe Nandini aur privacy dono milenge.."she smirked.

Manik's facial expression changed once again as he realised what she was referring to. "You mean..tumne.."before he could finish she cut him off "..pahle hi order diya tha Kyunki even I wanted to spent some time with you..and what could be a better company than food.."

"Matlab..tumne Yeh sab pahle se hi soch rakha tha.."Manik accused. "..toh Mujhe roka kyu nahi.."

"Arey aise kaise rokti.."Nandini explained. "..crib karte hue kitne cute lag rahe the tum..uff..Kya batau.."

"Dekho Mujhe cute mat kaho.."Manik warned to which Nandini replied. "..warna Kya Mera Laloo lal..phir se drama karoge.."she pulled his cheeks.

Manik was about to say something when Nandini said "Manik..why do you keep forgetting ki iss rishtey me..tum aur mai..nahi hai..balki.."she held his hands in her and looking into his eyes said "..hum hai.."

"Even I wanted to spend some alone time with you isiliye that time when I went to Principal sir office I ordered this for us taki we could have our lunch together..aur koi hamey disturb na kare isiliye I have planned there schedule in such a way ki sabke lunchbreak ki timing alag ho..taki kisi ko time aur mauka..dono..nahi miley ek sath dhamkne ke liye..."

"Friends ke sath toh we will always hang around but hamey aise moment khud nikalne honge..so this was my chotu sa attempt.."Nandini's words made him smile. "Yaar tum toh bahut tikrambaz nikali...matlab mai sirf drama karta rah gaya aur tum bazi mar le gai.."Manik was impressed.

But more than that he was ecstatic beyond measures.

"So..can we now have our lunch..bahut bhook lag rahi.."she pointed towards the food.

"Let's dig in..then.."Manik smiled as he happily agreed to join her. "..but idhar toh ek hi spoon hai..wait let me get another one.."saying this Manik was about to walk away but before he could do that Nandini held his hands and stopped him. "Ya phir..isi se kaam chalaye.."

Saying this Nandini picked up the spoon and filing it with soup...

...she extended it towards Manik who happily gulped it down.

"Now my turn.."saying this he took the spoon from her hand and filled it with soup and extended it towards her.

...which she happily gulped down at once.

They both continued to feed each other and soon they were lost into there own small perfect piece of forever.
