"What is it Rishab..kaha le ja raha hai tu mujhe.."Nandini asked for the umpteenth time. "Rishab sab hamara wait kar rahe hai.."but just like the zillion times before Rishab didn't paid any heeds to his sister and continued to drag her along.

Nandini was about to snap at him but before she could do that all of a sudden her feet came to halt as Rishab stopped in middle of nowhere. He turned to meet his sister's eyes which were glaring at him at the very moment.

"What the hell is wrong with you Rishab..tu mujhe kaha.."Nandini would have continued but once again she was interrupted as Rishab asked her to stop by showing his hand.

"Rishab tu yeh.."Nandini still tried to speak but unfortunately she continued as Rishab placed his palm over her mouth.

Though Rishab couldn't speak but Nandini didn't needed his words to understand what was going inside his head so she simply nodded her head in assurance that she will do exactly what he was asking her to do.

Rishab removed his hand from her mouth and gestured her to stay there. When Nandini nodded her head in assent he walked away from there to get something.

"Aiyappa..what is this boy upto.."Nandini shook her head as she waited for Rishab to return.

She was about to call his name out when she saw him walking back in. "Rishab..will you please tell me what's going on.."folding her arms across her chest she continued. "..now you are really annoying me Rishab..stop tasting my patience now."

Her words only made him smile which irritated her even more. "..yeh dant kya dikha raha hai ab..why are we here Rishab.."she looked at him expectantly.

But this time Rishab finally answered her question by extending something towards her.

It was a red colour box.

"Yeh kya hai.."Nandini asked looking back at Rishab. He simply gestured her to open it.
Nandini was too curious now so without wasting another moment she simply opened it.

And the next moment her eyes widened in shock as her eyes fell on the thing that was inside the box.

"Appa's pen.."was all she could whisper.

Her expressions changed immediately as she looked up only find Rishab smiling at her.

"But..yeh toh tut gai thi na.."she questioned him. "..isi ki wajah se toh maine.."she stopped abruptly as a memory flashed in front of her.

"..ussey punch mara tha.."she mumbled as she looked back at the pen which she was still in her hand.

"Bata na Rishab.."she looked at Rishab once again with questioning eyes. "..how this pen got fixed."

Rishab grinned as he once again extended something towards her..

..this time it was folded piece of paper.

Taking it in her hand Nandini unfolded it. As soon as her eyes fell on the first line of the letter her eyes were widened in shock.

"Manik.."she whispered as she looked at Rishab who simply nodded his head.
He gestured her to read the letter so she did exactly that.

I know you must be really mad at me that why I didn't call or texted you in last couple of weeks. I know I am at fault that's why I am apologising from the bottom of my heart to break my promise of being in regular touch with you once I return back to Mumbai.

I haven't replaced it because I know how much that pen means to you and your sister...

..in fact my face still hurt sometimes..

..because of the punch that your sister placed right across my face.

I haven't said back then..

...but I am saying it now..

I am truly sorry for my past actions..

I shouldn't have crossed my limits by breaking that pen which had so many sentimental emotions attached with it.

I apologise from the bottom of my heart.

This pen was a little more damage than I expected it to be that's why it took so much to get it repaired but fortunately I was successfully in getting it fixed in its old form.

Hopefully you would be smiling by getting it back.

And one more thing..

I know that when I haven't contacted you in last couple of days you must be thinking that I have forgotten about you or I won't revert back just because of the issues that going on between your sister and me..

..today I want to assure you something that no matter what happens you will always stay my Champ.

Whenever you need me I will always be there.

Nandini simply didn't knew how to react.

She was too shocked to say anything as it got fixed by that very same person who broke it at first place.

Her Appa's pen meant world to her as it was his last possession that Nandini had. It was her most priceless possession.

..and Manik knew that too.

What really shocked Nandini was the fact that even after knowing that there is a great possibility that she might not give their relationship a chance he still remain in touch with Rishab..

...only because he adored Rishab as his own kid brother.

Manik and Rishab's relationship wasn't dependent on the future of Manik and her relationship anymore as the letter was sent way before this idea of Fusion Concert came into picture.

That thought brought a smile on her face.
Looking at Rishab she simply answered his unasked question. "You want me to go to Mumbai..right..that's why you showed me this..because you want both of us to have a fresh beginning..correct.."

Rishab simply nodded.

"But Rishab.."before she could say anything Rishab started to plead by joining both his hand in front of her. Nandini could see desperation in his eyes that how badly he wanted this thing to work between her and Manik.

Sighing she finally gave in. "Fine..I will go to Mumbai..but I am leaving everything on fate..okay..if destiny wants us to be together then we will..but if not that we won't discuss this topic ever again..promise."

He nodded too excitedly before jumping on to her and taking her in big bear tight hug. Nandini responded with equal fervour as she hugged him back with only one thought in her mind.

"Aiyappa..I am leaving everything on you..bas ab aap dekh lena.."

You may not understand today or tomorrow,but eventually God will reveal why you went through everything that you did.
