CHAPTER TEN

With a pink rabbit apron, hair in a ponytail, sleeves fold to the elbows, Chaeyoung carefully putting designs on the rice using some side dishes.

She cooked for Jungkook today. A lot of them.

Being Jungkook's friend is better for her than being just a schooolmate that he's always shooing away. Maybe she is in a friendzone right now, but isn't friendship a good foundation in every relationship?

After being satisfied for the image she has made from the rice, she close the lunch box lid and put it with the others.

She counted the lunch boxes as she put them in a thermo bag. Ten lunch boxes in total.

She smiles in satisfaction and start to prepare herself this time.

Since she wanted to surprise Jungkook for the lunch she made, she decided to just meet him the in University Cafeteria.

Lunch time.

She was now walking along with Jungkook to the Cafeteria. She was blabbering about how good she is in cooking and how he made all the food with love.

She was so caught up in talking so fast she didn't catch the smile forming on Jungkook's lips. He shake his head a little as he admitted to himself that she really is cute.

But as they walk through an empty table in the Cafeteria, Chaeyoung saw a familiar face and starts to wave like an excited kid.

She runs to whoever she's waving to leaving Jungkook standing there confused. It's the first time for her talking with others while she's with him. Cause she seems like she only knows him of all people in the entire University.

Chaeyoung smile so wide as she sees someone she knows. She excitedly waved before walking towards him.

"Hi there! Taehyung right?"

Taehyung was stunned at first and almost spit out the juice he's drinking but decided to gulped it down before giving her a boxy smile.

He was so happy and proud at the same time.

She remembers me!

"The most handsome!" was his response to her. He was poking both his cheeks with his fingers acting cute in front of her.

"Glad to see you again."

"Glad to see you too!" the boys in the table said in chorus. Well, except Yoongi. She laughed at them amused which the boys found beautiful.

Chaeyoung look at everyone in the table and found familiar faces which she saw the last time.

"I just stop by to say hello. I'll get going now." she bows at them before leaving and go back to Jungkook when she remembers the lunch she made.

"Wait a minute. Actually, I made some food in here. And it's too much for two person. So why not share it with you guys since I owe you one. Here." she said as she put two lunch boxes in the table and open it in front of them. "I personally made it so it will surely be good." she told them with a wink.

Chaeyoung look at them one by one with a sweet smile. Taehyung secretly pulled the lunch boxes towards him but Yoongi also pulled it to him and dig his spoon on it to have a taste.

"Not bad." he commented but still continue to munch the food Chaeyoung made.

Chaeyoung frown a little. What if Jungkook will not like the food? Is it really just not bad? Should she try harder?

Taehyung noticed it and slap Yoongi's hand and snatched the lunch box away from him. He get his chop sticks and dig on the food. "Wah! This really good!" he said dramatically which made Chaeyoung laugh.

"Really?"

"Really really good." he mumbled for his mouth is full.

"It's a relief then." she gave them a satisfied face.

"Not to be rude but, I don't think it will be enough for us." Jimin joked.

"Sorry guys, but the truth is, I made this for someone really special. And I just share some for you because you guys somehow help me with him. Maybe next time?"

"Next time? So, that means you wanted to see me again?" Taehyung asked with wide eyes.

Jin, the oldest of the boys throw him some crampled tissue. "He meant us, kid." He turn to face Chaeyoung. "Right Chaeyoung?"

"Of course!"

Jin blew her a flying kiss and wink at her but Taehyung kicked him under the table.

"Yah! Kim Taehyung! I'm older than you! Are you disrespecting me?" Jin yelled at Taehyung jokingly almost popping veins.

"Sorry hyung!" he apologised then gave him a peace sign.

"Sorry guys. I wanted to stay longer but I have to go. Someone is waiting for me. Hopefully. And yeah! Next time?"

"Is that promise that you will see us again?" Jimin flips his hair as he asks.

"Promise!"

She then got up from her seat and bow at them. She look to where Jungkook is sitting. She spot him far away from her on the other side of the Cafeteria. Already eating. She frown as she approach him.

"I told you I bring some food."

Jungkook just shrug at her. Chaeyoung looks at him and sigh.

"I made it all just for you."

Jungkook clicked his tongue before drinking on his soda.

Chaeyoung just stare at him while he was eating like he was so hungry.

"What about just try some?" she suggested.

She was about to open the lid of one of the lunch boxes but Jungkook stopped her. "I'm already full."

Chaeyoung sigh again louder this time. "Okay."

She watched Jungkook as he finished his food. She already forgot that she also has to eat.

"But--"

"Just give it to your friends so it will not be a waste."

"You think so?" she asks innocently.

Jungkook look at her with a serious face.

"Maybe you're right. I think Taehyung liked it."

"Who's Taehyung?" Jungkook look up at her.

Chaeyoung smiled a little before answering. "My angel."

"Your angel, huh?"

Chaeyoung nodded eagerly.

"I have to go. I'll be late in class."

Chaeyoung process what he just said and called him. "Yah Jungkook! Your class will be in two hours!"

"Something came up. I need to meet my professor."

Chaeyoung pouted and remained in her seat. Her classes for today is already finished she has no company.

"I will just give it your mom then."

She decided as she stands up and smile again before heading to the Jeon's house.

Happy happy happy birthday to my favorite vocal, the sweetest, the kindest, the softest, the cutest, the prettiest, the most talented Park Chaeyong, Rosé, Roseanne, Rosie, Chaeng, Chipmunk, or whatever the blink nation call her.

I don't find blackpink specially Chaeyoung as 'just idols'. I feel like they are my family. I feel like Chaeyoung is my sister I need to protect. Her softness made me soft for her. She was so charming.

Thank you for making us proud Rosie. And thank you for being such an inspiration. Thank you for putting the stress away from me. Thank you for all the smiles you give us that also made us smile.

I will love you always dearest rosie! I'm not really good at showing and putting my feelings into words. I have still have a lot to say to you but I'll just end it here.

I hope you know that you are loved my many. Thank you girl. I'm so thankful that I discovered blackpink especially you girl!
