Welcome readers to my historical romance series. This is my first attempt at a historical piece, and I have to say that it was great fun writing these characters. I'm also a bit obsessed with the Storm and Silence series, so I thought I would try my hand at something similar yet different. 

Protocol dictates that I share certain disclaimers. I attempted to recreate historical events and include certain titled persons, however the names included in this story have been changed to protect the guilty and the deceased. I also tried to include terms and slang connected to the regency period, which proved an even greater challenge. Please forgive me if you find something that doesn't sound quite right. This is a work of fiction, folks, so let's just have fun with it.
