/The box/

I got the urge to shut off my audio receptors several times during the short trip to get myself 'checked over'. Starscream just couldn't keep his mouth shut for a single moment. I was tempted to weld his jaw shut, if only I had use of my tools...

Starscream tugged me up to a door and used a scanner to open it, which seemed unnecessary after I discovered what was behind it. Who needs a security pad for a medbay on board a warship? Megatron must want tighter security than I originally thought, which made sense since Autobots before me had proven that their security was easily exploited in a variety of ways. I scoffed when I was greeted by an overly excited voice, one that could only belong to the medic who was infamously known for throwing hissy fits over his finish.

Knockout.

"There's our guest right now! By Primus, he looks dreadful!" The cherry medic exclaimed, flaunting about the medbay as he studied me. "Starscream, I thought Megatron taught you better." He sneered, gesturing for the seeker to bring me over to a table.

Starscream growled and dragged me over there, glaring daggers at Knockout. "Last time I checked, prisoners aren't supposed to be treated like pampered guests!" He spat, pushing me towards Knockout and crossing his arms across his chassis.

"Do you ever just... not speak?" I said sarcastically as I hauled myself up onto the table, having some trouble because of the restraints on my wrists.

"Silence!" Starscream snapped angrily, his wings perked up high on his back. "You will learn to respect those that are above you in time."

"Sure, Screamer. That'll happen when Breakdown here learns to fly." Knockout chimed in, stifling a snicker when the navy blue mech stepped into the room. He shooed Starscream away and watched him leave in a huff before turning his attention to me. His signature smirk was plastered across his face as he examined my frame, making little comments about how I was outdated and such.

I only scoffed and ignored him, focusing on Breakdown as he came over with a buffer. "Is this really necessary?" I asked, rolling my optics in annoyance.

"If Lord Megatron commands it, I must obey. Besides, we don't want you looking all pitiful. Only the best will please my liege." Knockout replied with a wink, taking the buffer from Breakdown and watching as it whirred to life. He leaned forward and was about to start buffing my shoulder when I pulled away and frowned at him. "Oh please, being feisty will only make things worse. I promise that there are better things in store for you once you leave here."

"You are terrible at lying."

"Am I, Ratchet?"

I gave up on trying to resist and just let Knockout do what he needed to, keeping my gaze averted from him. I did, however, listen to the several conversations he had with Breakdown that proved to at least be somewhat entertaining. It only took a few minutes for Knockout to finish buffing me and if I was being honest, he did a fairly good job. Of course, I knew it was all going to get ruined at the end.

Starscream soon returned to retrieve me, having a brief argument with Knockout about his paint color before dragging me out of the room. Surprisingly enough, he kept his mouth shut for most of the walk to what I assumed was Megatron's throne room.

Alas, I was incredibly wrong.

That blasted seeker took me straight past Megatron's throne room, which the sterling silver warlord did not currently occupy, and down another long corridor. I was trying to make a map of the ship in my head for later use, but all of the hallways looked so confusingly similar that I just gave up entirely.

I was jerked out of my thoughts when Starscream halted at a massive doorway that was guarded by two Vehicons. I eyed them nervously as I waited for something to happen. A few moments later, the doors slowly opened to reveal a luxurious room full of the finest decor. This surprised me since most of the warship was in poor condition compared to this single room. I shuffled forwards when Starscream tugged on my arm and silently looked around, my spark beginning to beat harder in my chassis.

"Ah, I see Knockout has done a wonderful job fixing you up."

I immediately looked to my right and froze, my optics landing upon the silver titan that had just miraculously appeared in the room. My spark sank and I took a small step backwards, only to be shoved forwards by Starscream and nearly knocked off my pedes.

Megatron chuckled darkly at my reaction, folding one arm behind his back while he used the other to gesture to the room itself. "Do you like it? I had it designed for my personal use." He spoke in a smooth, subtle tone that sent shivers down my spine. "And I even considered an add-on for my new pet." His hand then gestured to a box-like structure in the corner of the room, which looked cramped and poorly designed.

"You're insane if you think I'm just going to let you call me that." I spat without thinking, my gaze hardening upon the warlord as I glared at him. "I am not your pet, nor will I ever be."

"You misunderstand, Doctor. I'm not only going to refer to you as my pet, I'm also going to refer to you as my slave." Megatron replied with a smirk, a low purr rumbling in his massive chassis. He turned to his left and got something from a table, grasping it in his hand as he calmly strode towards me.

I hissed and tried to back away, but Starscream held me firmly in place. My head pulled back as Megatron leaned forwards and clicked something around my neck. I immediately felt something poke the back of my neck and I squirmed uncomfortably, trying to figure out what it was. "You've lost your mind!"

Megatron chuckled and stepped back, a grin still on his face as he gazed upon me. "Have I? Or is it you that's lost your mind?" He asked teasingly, pulling out some sort of device from his subspace and holding it in one hand. "If I'm going to have a pet, it can't be running off all the time and getting into trouble. This should keep that from happening."

I stared at Megatron for a moment before I suddenly felt a powerful surge of electricity fire into me. I cried out in pain and seized up, falling over once Starscream let go of me. I convulsed on the floor for a few seconds before the pain ceased and left me gasping for air. I struggled to push myself up, every nerve and circuit in my body tingling from the shock. "W-What..."

"That, my dear medic, is the punishment you shall receive if you disobey me. Of course, the consequences will get worse if you keep it up, but I don't think you'll reach that level of disobedience. Am I right?" Megatron inquired, putting the device away and looking down at me with a harsh gaze.

Though I wanted to refuse, my instincts told me that I should bide my time and pick the battles I fight wisely. I nodded shakily and managed to get to my knees, my frame still trembling as I looked up at Megatron. "Y-Yes...." I mumbled, looking away afterwards.

Megatron chuckled and gestured for Starscream to pull me up, turning on his heel and striding over to the box he had mentioned a few minutes ago. He took out a keycard and unlocked the door to it with ease, waiting patiently for Starscream to bring me over and shove me inside.

The box was more cramped than I originally thought it would be once I was inside. The door slammed behind me and I tried to turn around, having to squeeze myself against the walls before I could fully face forwards. To my dismay, there was only a thin slot that I could look out of. I couldn't see much other than the legs of Megatron and Starscream. It was very claustrophobic and hard to breathe in there since I took up most of the space.

"Make yourself at home, because that's where I'll be keeping you until I decide otherwise." I heard Megatron say before his thundering pedesteps left the room along with Starscream's, leaving me to my thoughts in a cramped metal box.
