We all got something to be
Thankful for.

We can be thankful for life
We can be thankful for not being poor;
We can be thankful for happiness,
Family, friends, or so much more.

Thankful for those we love
Thankful for serving another harsh day;
Thankful for the food we eat,
As we laugh & sing our cares away.

Thank for finding true love
Thankful for not being alone;
Thankful for kindness of others,
Whose hearts aren't as cold as stone

But what does it mean to be thankful?
Where does it come from?

Being thankful comes from
The heart; 
It comes from a gentle soul, 
One that refuses to fall apart. 

This thanksgiving let's be thankful
For what we got & what we give.
