COLONISING on Mars has never been easy for mankind. For centuries, they have been perfecting their methods of space travel, interplanetary communication and colony buildings. Humans have now dominated the majority of the planets in the Solar System and educational trips in schools now take children to view Jupiter up close. Earth still stands as mankind's preferred planet while Space Tech giants rival each other to colonise another planet and improve living conditions for new colonies. Colonies built on Mars run solely on solar energy, sometimes referred to as the Planet of the Sun. There are only 4 colonies on Mars.

❝ HELIOS CITY IS BUILT ON TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION ❞

HELIOS City is the largest colony and also the capital, named after the Greek God of the sun. Residents of Helios are surrounded by high-end technology that provide endless convenience and live a long but fast-paced life. They also tend to have a high IQ level than other Mars colonies, with many working for the space force, developing or improving technology. Helios Colony is under the Rule and Management of American space giant Galactic Space Corps (GSC).

❝ AMATERASU CITY IS BUILT ON TRADITION AND CULTURE ❞

AMATERASU City is the second largest colony, named after the Japanese Goddess of the sun. Residents of Amaterasu continue many ancient cultural practices, including religious, medical, culinary and leadership. They are mostly a peaceful colony and one can find their hospitality almost too generous. Originally intended to be a colony for the families of workers, they grew in size over time and became their own seperate colony. Amaterasu Colony is under the Rule and Management of Chinese-Japanese joint space giants Orbital Space Company (OSC).

❝ AURORA CITY IS BUILT ON FINE ART AND ENTERTAINMENT ❞

AURORA City is the third largest colony, named after the Roman Goddess of the dawn. Residents of Aurora descend from wealthy Earth families wanting to have a taste of space living. Many preferences of entertainment have been passed down and residents can indulge in various hobby activities. Unfortunately, the rate of crime and human trafficking is high here and many officials become corrupt. Aurora Colony is under the Rule and Management of American space giants Interstellar Exploration (IntEx).

❝ AH KIN CITY IS BUILT ON MILITARY POWER AND ORDER ❞

AH KIN City is the smallest colony, named after the Mayan God of the sun. This was not originally an intended colony to be formed on Mars but given the threat of competition over resources and space, they were established with the sole role of peacekeeping and maintaining order. Residents of Ah Kin are all scripted into military service from a young age and dedicate their life training for combat and practicing virtuous values. Ah Kin Colony is under the Rule and Management of Russian space giants Planetary Sciences (PS).

❝ CITY OF SIN ❞

HOSEOK wiped his dripping face with a towel. The chanting of the crowd could easily be heard through the thin walls and he reluctantly leaned back from the sink where red streaks were slowly running down. This was an illegal fighting ring, after all. Stepping back outside into the musty warehouse space, he passed a couple of old men who were most likely close to having alcohol poisoning, several half-dressed girls accompanying tattooed men who looked like gang leaders or drug lords. They egged him on, having seen him knock out a couple of easy opponents while patiently waiting for the signal from his partner. He stands in the ring, staring at his next opponent emotionlessly when he hears his partner whistling. That's the signal.

"I forfeit."

Hoseok raises his hands and everyone surrounding the ring groans in disappointment, some booing and throwing empty beer bottles at him. He smirks slightly as the faint sound of rattling fills his ears amongst the shattering glass.

"AURORA POLICE, HANDS IN THE AIR."
