Hey qts <3 

This is just a quick A/N to let you know that I'm gonna put Counterpoint on hold for now. 

As you ~may~ have noticed, I haven't been updating pretty much... at all x) With how 2020 has been going so far and a few other IRL things on my end, it's really, *really* hard to find the motivation to write a prequel that is basically the lowest point of Olivia and Jason's lives. 

Maybe that's a little weird, but I dunno, after three books with these two, I'm attached :D

This doesn't mean I'll never update this again. I'll probably pick it up again in the future, maybe post a chapter here and there, but for now, consider this prequel on hold until further notice. 

Also you can bet your butt that I'm not done with the Shadowsong series. Cue evil laugh in the distance

BUT KELSEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING IF YOU ARENT PROCRASTINATING WRITING COUNTERPOINT? 

Well, anonymous voice in my head, here's what I'm working on: 

- Editing Shadowsong B1 (with the goal of throwing it at agents/publishers). This one is my main priority at the moment, because honestly I love this series and OHBOYDOIHAVETHINGSPLANNEDFORBOOKSFOURANDFIVEANDSIX

- Editing Indigo back to my standards & attempting to find the courage to query agents/publishers

- New story! Editing drives me nuts, so I'm gonna start posting a new book called 'Spirit Blood'. Follow our exhausted, grumpy main character, Lira, and her bonded spirit beast, Shari, as they attempt to avoid interacting with as many people as possible--until, of course, the Plot gets involved. 
   Gonna attempt something similar to Shadowsong, where I don't stress about making it a 'book' so much as I do just writing the story, but we'll see how it goes. 

At the moment it's not a Colourverse book, but honestly, who knows c: 

Uhhh I think that's it.

Stay safe, look after yourselves, remember that if everything seems a little bit too much some days, you're allowed to step away from the internet and do something dumb, like idk fingerpaint on notebook paper and just make really wonky lines of acrylic pink paint because it's the only colour you had available but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
