The scene opens up with James wearing a black tuxedo and pants with formal shoes and is wearing a dark blue necktie, he later conceals his revolver and he meets up with Weiss.

They arrived at the dance and after hearing a noise, James told Weiss that he's gonna go after Ruby. He saw the guards knocked out cold and he pulls out his revolver. And he saw Ruby stumble because of her high heels. Then the woman with the mask attacked Ruby and James so he rushes in with his Revolver, and he tries scoring some shots but miss until he fired another shot and it hit her in the palm, she attacks James and tries to grab the revolver off his hands but James, known for his 3-Year Service and good Hand-To-Hand combat skills, and his Resiliency, he gets Cinder off and she escaped.
