Enough about my upcoming birthday. Who missed me? Raise your hand up if you did. I know this will sound crazy to you but it also sounded crazy to me. So that crazy friend of mine what's her name? Lipsdripping. I wonder if her lips actually drip 🤔 but with the way she talks I'm sure they drip. Back to what I was saying. So Lipsdripping has been telling me something crazy. She said she can picture my life in three years. Like come on. Is she a winch? And is she mad? And what does she even take me for? I'm 18 for God sakes or do I look 8? She wants me to believe her. Nonsense!

Now back to my upcoming birthday. I need to plan it. Like serious planning because I'm going to celebrate my birthday this time around In Shaa Allah. But I don't have time for that right now. I have something to do- something like saying hi to my dear diary.

I can't believe I'm 18. Like I'm now old enough to leave my parents house and get married 😱 I can now be arrested for committing a crime. What will now happen to my dream of assassinating my grandmother in the middle of the night 😢 All hope is lost 😭 now she will keep troubling people. Why didn't I act fast before I turned 18? I was really busy counting down to the birthday that didn't even happen in the end. But I must say... that was my best birthday and I will always remember it.
Enough about annoying kaaka 🙄 I have to accept the fact that I can't kill her now. But diary I want you to remember this- if I ever in the near or far future kill kaaka please make sure you don't spill my secret. Don't tell anyone I'm the murderer and I won't tell. So guys guess what! Me and my Aminu got invited to a picnic. Yay! Guess who invited us? Hafsat, Zuwee and Mufeeda also known as my friends. They blabbed that they wanted to finally meet the 'famous Aminu' aka my first ever boyfriend, first kiss, first real love, future father of Mufti, Natasha and Ariana, future grandfather of my future grandkids, future son in law of my parents, future brother in law of my siblings and cousins, future uncle in law of my nieces and nephews, future friend in law of my friends, future hater in law of my haters and future frenemy in law of my frenemies- they are his fans 💁🏽

Okay so after dressing up (with the outfit you picked for me) Aminu came to my house to pick me up and unfortunately for my poor poor life Mama was around. Do you know what that means? Embarrassment 😩. So when when he he came I jejeli told Mama that I was ready to go out and my friend was already waiting for me outside. Then my super annoying sister Faiza cut in and said 'oh wow! Me and Mama want to see this 'your friend'" she quoted the your friend with her fingers. Godddd that girl 👿 I can't believe I'm three years older than her but she talks to me like she's older. I just cannot wait for Mama to travel for a week and leave me at home with that girl. She will suffer in my hands. Smirk smirk mentally

"This girl. I just don't know what to do with your rashin kunya" I glared at her

Mama laughed. "Don't mind her. Tell your friend to come inside. I want to meet him"

I let out a deep sigh and said "okay Mama. Just because you're insisting but....." I turn to face my Faiza and said "I will have to buy kunya for you next time we go to wuse market. No matter how expensive it is"

Mama followed me back to the sitting room where her handsome future son in law was waiting. Immediately Mama entered Aminu turned and greeted her. Confident nonsense. I was expecting him to stammer so that I will make fun of him.

"Hauwa don't you have manners? You didn't even offer him a seat" Mama scolded

"Mama. She can't use what she doesn't have" Faiza joked and I wondered when she came in. I should have locked her in the room.

"Please have a sit" I said ignoring Faiza and giving importance to my baby.

"How are you?" Mama asked

"I'm fine Mama"

Wait who gave him the right to call my mother Mama. Am I his mate?

"Good. Hauwa and Faiza please excuse us. I want to talk to him"

"What do you mean you want to talk to him Mama. You just met him"

"Yes. And that's why I want to talk to him. It's important. Just go!" She commanded

"Okay" I say dragging my feet.

"Mama make sure you expose all her dirty little secrets" Faiza chuckled.

"This girl. There's no escaping for you today" I said and she ran for her life.

I just wonder what Mama wants to talk to Aminu about 🤔 I just hope she wants to tell him to start planning our wedding soon. I can't wait to wear fine outfits and be the centre of attention then my pictures will trend on Instagram. If I won't get married for anything I will get married for that 💃🏽
