Chapter 2 "Losing My Mind"

[A/N: Here's chapter two! I hope you all enjoy. :3 ]

Fuck me because I forgot to set my alarm at a later time. I was woken up at 5:30 by that damned thing. I grabbed the thing and changed the alarm until '7:35', that way I had at least an extra 2 hours of sleep to catch up on.

Waking up at 7:30 was definitely better than 5 fucking 30. 5 minutes left til it rang; I wasn't falling asleep again. I got out of bed and looked at myself, the top part of my boxers partially showing due to my damn pajama pants. I walked over to my closet and grabbed one of my dress shirts. I placed it on my bed before grabbing a pair of black dress pants. Glancing at the ground, I ran my fingers through my hair.
Ugh, disgusting.
I walked into the bathroom and set the shower on, slipping my clothes off before getting in. I massaged my scalp with shampoo gently, sighing softly at the nice feeling. I washed my thin body carefully, especially along my cuts.

Within another minute, I was out, dried off and currently dressing myself. I looked at myself and began a mental debate if whether or not I should wear a tie. After a couple of minutes, I was currently sitting in my living room with a tie on practically ready to bolt out the door for work. The time was 8:17. I usually leave around 9:30; this was after the whole thing at the cafe.

Speaking of cafe...

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't shake that place out of my head. Pulling into the parking lot of the small joint, I began thinking over if whether or not I should stay or gun it.
Oh fuck it.
I got out and proceeded inside, and damn the place was packed.
"Excuse me sir." I glanced to my right to see a tall man, possibly a teenager, couldn't really tell. He had freckles here and there, they do suit him.
"Yes?" I asked while slightly quirking my eyebrow.
"Is your order to go or are you staying?" He asked while tucking a pen into his shirt pocket.
"I'm not in a rush, so I'm staying."
"Alright." He grinned before walking off. I sighed softly and tucked my hands into my pockets, glancing around. Did they redo the place? Or has it really been that long?
"I've got a customer who's staying! Please serve to him!" I looked to the back and saw several workers shuffle into the back. Taking his words as some sort of cue, I walked my way over to a table and sat down.

"Hello sir. How may I help you today?" It's the same kid from earlier. Jeez, at least give him a break Kirschtein.
"May I please have black tea? Darjeeling, no milk or sugar added." I said while looking up at him.
"Alright." He muttered while scribbling it down. "Would you like anything to eat?"

Do I really have to?
I guess I do...

"May I please have a bagel with cream cheese? Lightly toasted." "Sure." I watched him write it down before glancing at the long line.
"Ok. We'll have it ready as soon as we can." I nodded and watched him run off. This place must've gotten good reviews since the last time I was here. Either that or the other shops around town are already packed with customers. But then again, this is none of my business.

I pulled my phone out and checked those damn social media apps, like Instagram and Facebook. I don't have many friends and don't follow many people, so my time on there isn't that long. While scrolling through my news feed, I was so rudely interrupted by something hot and wet being splashed onto my arm.

"I'm so sorry!" I gritted my teeth and glared up at whoever pulled this act on me, but as I did I softened my expression a little.
Those eyes, on this sweet boy, were absolutely breathtaking. The color of them are so hard to describe. Their like a sea green-teal color. Or more like a Caribbean ocean kind of color.
"It's alright." I sighed as I glanced at my arm.

"Jaeger! What the hell were you thinking?!" A voice yelled. Glancing up, I watched as Kirschtein stomp his way over to the man. "I wasn't thinking anything!" The other boy snapped. "It was an accident!"
"I told you that this man is really important!"
Really Kirschtein?
The kid didn't say anything back to him. Oh well.
"Clean him up, please." Kirschtein sighed before walking into the back. Way to go; you embarrassed yourself in front of the entire shop.

"Follow me." The kid hummed while walking into the back. I nodded and quickly followed him, not knowing why I followed him so quickly. I looked around, biting my lip as several workers stared at me.
"Here." The tall brunette kid smiled as he handed me a white button down dress shirt. "It's one of mine. I hope it's not big on you."
"Thanks." I muttered before walking into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and frowned slightly.

God, my body structure looks terrible. I am skinny as anything, I'm as pale as a ghost.
I slipped off my shirt and put on the other one. It smelt very nice. The scent was pleasant and it relaxed my senses.

Then again, the kid mentioned that it was his shirt. So, I'm assuming this is what he smells like too.

I walked out of the bathroom, into the arms of the teal eyed boy. I looked up at him and he smiled down at me.
"Sorry." I sighed while backing up. "It's alright." He chuckled while taking my stained shirt. "What are you going to do with that?" I asked while raising an eyebrow.
"This? I'm going to wash it for you. I could have my boss drop it off at your apartment 'cause he lives in the same complex as you." He smiled while walking into a different room.
Is Jean a stalker too? Taking that as a yes.
"Thanks. You don't have to do that." He just glanced back at me and smiled.
I couldn't help but blush at his actions.

Blush? What the hell is wrong with me?!

"Now if I were you, I'd head back to my table to be served." He grinned. I nodded slightly and immediately walked out, back to where I was sitting. The tea stain was completely gone; pretty surprised that Jean trained his workers to be their best.

Despite the fact that there were a lot of customers, I was served within five minutes. Then again, I was ordering a bagel. The kid from earlier served me again, and in fact he made. All I have to say is, wow. He is amazing.

Good food comes from good looking people, right?

Wait what..?

"Here's your bill sir." I glanced up at the freckled kid before pulling out the exact amount of money that the bill stated. I added a five dollar tip because they did a hell of a good job serving me, even though I got tea spilled on me.
"We hope to see you again soon!" He grinned before walking off. I nodded and gathered my things.

As I did so, a pair of eyes wouldn't leave me.

Rush hour traffic sucks ass. I was stuck in it for at least an hour and a half before finally getting into work. And as soon as I walked in-

"Hey shortie! You're late, I hope you know that." You don't have to tell me twice, shitty glasses. "Erwin has a lot of paperwork for you. A whole bunch." Keep talking, four eyes. It's the same stuff everyday. I quickly walked into my office and got situated, before walking to 'his' office.
Maybe I should've listened to four eyes because she wasn't kidding.

Stress really does pile up like papers, doesn't it? Not even halfway through the stack of them and I began thinking about that kid I saw earlier. Those damn eyes, that damn figure, that damn smile.

Damn him...

To be continued...
