Chapter 09: Dating?

Kai's POV

Once, I heard what she said, my mood completely lighted up.

I looked at her, while smiling.

She was still laughing though, but I can live with that.

I decided I should ask her the question.

"Yuna?" I called for her attention.

Because, this little penguin whose also a dolphin needs attention.

She looked at me while smiling.

"Hm? What is it Kai?" She asked and tilted her head to the side.

'Cute...' I thought, and tried to prevent myself from smiling.

I shook that thought away, and focused my attention to my next question.

I took a deep breath, and looked at her once again.

"I just want to ask...." I started.

"Ask what?" She asked, while looking at me totally confused with what's happening.

"If..." I said, and I started feeling so nervous already.

"If what?" She asked me once again, obviously getting annoyed by the fact I keep her hanging.

"If you can be my girlfriend?" I asked and quickly looked at her.

She was like a stone, she wasn't moving at all.

"Did I actually hear that right? Or maybe not?" She asked me while pointing.

I was thinking whether I should say yes or not.

But in the end...

"Um... yeah, yeah you did." I said, and looked away.

"Um... I don't know what to say." She said.

"Well, you don't really have to say anything right now! You should think about it first." I said, and looked at her once again.

She looks like she was in deep thought.

I was about to speak when she suddenly said something.

That completely caught me off guard.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I?" She said.

'Did I just hear that right?' I asked myself.

"I know what you're thinking right now." She said, and started coughing.

"Yuna! Are you ok-." I said, but sadly got cut off.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little thirsty." She said.

"Anyway, I was trying to say earlier. That what you're thinking was you were actually thinking if you heard me right. Right?" She asked me.

I just nodded at her statement, and took out my phone and started texted somebody.

Kai:
Hyung! Open the door!

Taehyun:
And why would I?

Taehyun:
Knowing you and Yuna's stubborn nature, you guys are probably still in a argument.

Kai:
We aren't even fighting anymore.

Kai :
It's just Yuna needs something to drink right now.

Taehyun:
Okay.

Kai:
Uh. What? (Seen.)

After reading his last message it left me confused.

I looked at the door before looking at Yuna who was busy doing something on her phone.

I looked over to it, and saw that she was texting somebody, and that somebody was Jeongin.

I quickly pouted at that thought because; I was the one here, the one who's right here next to her.

But look at her.

Maybe this is really karma.

Well, I don't care whether this is really karma or not.

I'm claiming her.

I quickly took her phone and closed the app, then her phone.

She looked at me while pouting, while me?

I just kissed her forehead, and then hugged her.

We stayed in that position for a couple of minutes.

Well, it would've lasted a bit longer if Taehyun hyung didn't ruin it.
