Chapter 02: Worried?

Author's POV

It has been weeks, ever since Kai rejected Yuna.

And ever since that, their relationship started to change as well.

If before they would talk all night long, now they would just text "Good Night" and "Sleep tight".

If before they always talk whenever they bump into each other, now they just do what strangers do when that happens.

They would just help each other then leave.

If before after school they go to the Café near school, now they don't.

A lot of things change within that time span, and so did their feelings.

Kai had also developed feelings for Yuna.

While Yuna on the other hand, forgot about her feelings for Kai.

Right now, Kai is with Taehyun because it was almost curfew in their dorm, so they were already in their dorm.

But Yuna on the other hand, she's still outside with her friends doing a group project in a Café.

Yuna hasn't informed her roommate just yet, because when she was about to inform her roommate her phone suddenly died.

Yuna wanted to borrow one of her friend's phones, but she thought that would just be inconvenient for everybody.

Besides, Yuna has somebody with her that will make sure that she will get home safely.

Yuna's POV

We were almost done with our project when I heard somebody call my name.

I looked up and saw my friend having a worried look on his face, while showing his lock screen that displayed the time.

It was almost curfew!

I quickly stood up and started collecting my things; I can feel my friend's eyes on me.

I turned around and got my bag and went over to the guy who showed me the time.

He quickly pointed towards my friends, meaning he's asking me, if I can at least say goodbye to them to which I only sighed at him.

I turned around and bowed to them.

"I'm so sorry! But, I have to leave. My dorm has a curfew and the owner will check us after fifteen minutes of grace period." I said and then bowed to them, once again.

I quickly left the place and ran with the guy following me around.

We were basically running around the place.

We were about to reach the dorm when it suddenly rained.

We stopped for a moment looking at each other and ran once again.

We finally reached the place.

It was still raining, though so we were both soaking wet.

I looked at him, and he looked at me as well.

"You owe me one, Yuna." He said to me, once we both reached our dorm.

"Yeah, yeah. Okay. I do owe you one." I said to him, agreeing with him.

"How about.... We go to the Café near school, every now and then?" He asked me, which took me a back.

'Is he asking me out or what?' I asked myself.

'Nah. He isn't.' I thought as I looked at him.

"Okay then. Now, go!" I said, and went in the dorm.

Luckily there were still a few minutes before curfew.

So, I wasn't really scolded because I didn't break any rules. Yet.

I quickly went up to my and Chaeryeong eonni's room.

Luckily the room was still open; I went towards the room's door. I reached out for the handle and twisted it. I opened the room's door but as I opened it, I met a very worried looking Chaeryeong eonni.

She looked at me with wide eyes, before taking out her phone and I guess, she started texting somebody.

I looked at her weirdly, and left the place to go freshen up.

Chaeryeong's POV

Once I saw Yuna, I finally felt relieved.

I quickly took out my phone and started texted somebody.

Chaeryeong:
Hey, Taehyun.

Chaeryeong:
Never mind what I said earlier, Yuna is already back here.

Chaeryeong:
Although, she is soaking wet because of the rain she's completely fine.

Taehyun:
Oh. Okay.

Chaeryeong:
Thank you for trying to help me.

Taehyun's POV

I received a text message from Chaeryeong noona earlier today.

Saying that Yuna, is still isn't there, and it was also getting late, so she was very worried.

But, then she suddenly texted me that Yuna is already back there.

Although she is wet from the rain.

I decided to tell Kai, about it.

So I quickly went in his room which was just opposite to mine.

I knocked, and when I heard him say "Come In.".

I did come in his room.

And once I did, I started telling him of what happened.

After I did that, I quickly left his room, just to sleep all of it off.

Kai's POV

After I've heard what Taehyun hyung said.

I tried to sleep it off, but, I couldn't so I decided to ask her about it.

Kai:
I heard that you got to the dorm late.

Kai:
What happened?

Kai:
Taehyun hyung said you were also soaking wet because of the rain.

Kai:
Go and take a shower.

Kai:
So you can at least freshen yourself up.

Yuna:
I already did.

Kai:
Good.

Kai:
Why are you suddenly so cold? | Deleted

Kai:
So, what actually happened?

Kai:
Why did you get to the dorm late?

Yuna:
I was out.

Kai:
Mind answering my question properly? Yuna? I'm older than you. I should get some respect from you.

Yuna:
I was out with some friends and classmates, we had to do a project that was just given to us today and the submission is tomorrow.

Yuna:
There are you happy now?

Yuna:
Oh. And please do stop telling me that you're actually older than me.

Yuna:
I don't really like it.

Yuna:
It seems like you're bragging about it.

Kai:
Well, it is true.

Yuna:
It may be true but, you don't have to Brag about it. Because, you don't ever know if you're actually hurting somebody. Physically or Mentally.

Yuna:
I'm going to go to sleep now. Okay?

Kai:
Okay...

Kai:
Goodnight...

Kai:
Take care.

Kai:
What happened to you... Yuna? | Deleted
