It had hardly been  more than ten minutes since I had left the student council's office after leaving Shiori in custody of Horikita senpai in expectation that my troubles were finally over.

But no ! It seemed that fate had yet another plan for me . For standing before me was a girl with silver hair just like Sakyanagi dressed fashionably in middle of hallway on the first floor. I couldn't even advance in her presence which was as effulgent as sun itself . It was truly a wonder that my eyes hadn't been damaged yet .

"Egregious ! You disposed of my servant in less than four days effectively ." She peered at me with an accused expression on her face.

"So are you the one who sent Shiori then? Clearly , her claims about supernatural events intertwining my fate weren't planted then ..."

"Of course not ! Still , who was to know that you wouldn't be inflicted with vacuity like other humans ? If only , I hadn't dropped the ring ." She crossed her arms sighing to herself.

Ring ?  As of now , I had no definitive theory regarding her existence but she didn't look too cantankerous so I suppose I don't need to be much uneasy here. 

"What is your objective?" I asked.

"Interrupting a goddess is divine offence you know.." She glared.

"So you are a goddess. Alright ! What do you want?"

"Hey ! Don't just sway it off. Sheesh ! Fine ..I am Yleiona , messenger goddess. But you see, one week ago , when I was transporting a packet from from divine realm to underworld through mortal world, something strange force knocked me out from my ride and I lost track of content . I obviously sent my servants including Shiori to search for it but all in vain . That is when my friend Quintus suggested me that since gods themselves couldn't intervene in mortal world except through agents , I should take help of a capable human .

Some humans on earth walk at brink of life and death with each moment . Those humans are called Contradictors , who cause disturbances in mortal world and were also responsible for the force that disbalanced me back then. 

But if those very same humans could be made agents if bestowed with divine powers,then they would be semi-agents in a way and that would lead to weakening of disturbances . Weakening of...." She glossed her eyes.

"Weakening of disturbances would lead to mitigation of such events in future in first place but also make it more easier for you to find the ring since nothing would interfere with exercise of your powers then. But since gods can't intervene and agents are still god, they still won't use full power so by granting them to humans , you would be able to use those humans who will use your full power . 

In order to find those capable human, you sent Shiori like other servants in different timelines and one of them just happened to be me. You have achieved your objective yet you whine because you are distraught at fact that a human like me could see through her deception so easily in such a short time . Conflict of personal desire and professional goals.  Does that sum it up?" I finished.

"Yeah ! ..That does sum it up nicely . Well ! There are more complications than that but yes.  So will you agree to ..."

"No !" I shook my head quickly.

"What? You would decline the wish granted to a human in a ..."

"Yes ! I simply want  a peaceful life and I finally have neutralized threat of Shiori . ..."

"What if I tell you that I can give you eternal realm of peace for your own self if you manage to find the ring ?" She offered with tempting eyes leaning towards me. Tempting offer ! But I had no guarantee of her word.

"You will also get to meet people like yourself along the way if you agree you know ?"

"Hmm ! Like who?"

"Well! There is Light Yagami , who is even at more death and life's door than you . There is also an isolate multiverse itself of an individual whose true name is not known even to him and yet loves mystery. You see , that ring which fell controls destiny itself and has a mind of its own . So the longer it stays scattered in time vortex, it will continue to merge more and more isolated universes and multiverses . If it continues , then we might just have a inter -god war , leading to destruction of pretty much everything ." She explained.

"Putting high stakes on me when I haven't even accepted the offer yet . Great going with negotiation , Yleiona ." 

"Oh ! Come on. I am desperate . Out of all the servants I sent , Shiori was the only one to arrive at intended destination. Many got lost in time vortex itself. Come on ! Look, if you don't accede to my demands, I am going to join your class until you agree." She crept close to me breathing down my neck with her blood blue eyes. 

Well ! That would certainly would make sure that I can never return here again if she wore me down eventually . What a troublesome goddess !

"Fine ! But once I have found your ring , leave me alone and mind your prize ."

"Of course!" She smiled giddily completely unfettered from any malice on her face which was subsisting on her face not too long ago. "Now,  there are certain conditions that you must know about before you travel to another timeline. Let's move somewhere more comfy , shall we?"

With a snap of her fingers, we were in a cafe floating on air with her sitting cross-legged on table facing me with a smirk. I am sure Ike would have liked to spend time with her.

"First , there aren't single set of gods. For example, your timeline and several other timelines are part of one multiverse, reigned and created by a god . But isolated multiverses were also created by their own gods and have their own timelines. So the main concern  here is not timeline since they are infinite in any multiverse . Remember when I told you that a ring has a conscience, so when it fell, it quickly escaped into time vortex. But eventually , the ring will have to recline itself back after a while into one of the multiverses. I have identified four possible multiverses where the ring could be hiding . One of them was your own and of course multiverse created by my God. I have already granted you power but since you haven't detected anything , I suppose we can rule out this multiverse ." She sipped her coffee. I had a strong urge to see what would happen if I mix water in it .

Either way , this was certainly interesting . So she would send me in three different multiverses to channelize her godly power and track ring down once I detect its presence.

"Not quite ." She cut in as if reading my mind ."If it was that simple, I would have went myself and violated few rules . Think about it ! A random human suddenly appears with help of a different god in world you created ! How would you feel as its creator ? I don't want to start a inter-god conflict . When you go , you would have no memory of me or Shiori or this mission so as off to hide from god's radar. 

Furthermore, it is more dangerous for you in world I am sending you since the chosen candidate there has his own shinigami (death god) . That is why, I will delete some of your memory . Instead, I will add a trigger mechanism for you to regain your memories eventually so as to hide your unique presence from gods there."

"I see. It does complicate things then . I would have power but I won't realize anything until I regain my memories. I suppose the trigger mechanism would have something to do with my relationship with chosen candidate of that world ?"

"Indeed ! Your first partner Light Yagami may even attempt to kill you secretly . But for you to find the ring in different universe, you would need his aura , which can only be gained by you when you are in his presence. If roles had been reversed, then Light would have need your aura here if the ring was here. If the ring is not there, then you will know immediately . 

You don't have to take Light with you to new world if the ring is absent. You will just have to chant these word "My Soul is Water . My Water is my Heart .My Heart is my Dagger .My  Dagger is my . My Pain as Pain is my life " She confirmed.

I wasn't much worried about being targeted by Light . Any past me not more than six years ago would be enough to handle him.  I was also not interested to know why that was the chant ...The hard part will be actualize what will trigger me when I won't be aware of anything  in first place.

"By the way , I can't tell you more information about that world. I only got to know this due to Hermes, who was infiltrating god's world secretly as usual . " She clarified. Well ! So much for being useful. Still , I had to know just one more thing .

"What will be the trigger?"

"Would it really matter if you forget it?" She blinked her eyes confused. Clearly , she had much learn about me.

"Just tell me , Yleiona . Before you send me to a world unknown , what do I need to do to bring back my memories."

"Very well then ." She stood up and whispered to me softly . 

So that is what I had to do ! "Truly a fascinating offer , isn't it"  As Sakyanagi would say . All that etched my heart was a serene rush , I couldn't placate . With that , a bright light engulfed me as my memories were shredded one by one with green veins pushing me out an unfamiliar dim room.

 One moment , Sakyanagi was telling me about White room and now suddenly I am here. Where am I ? What was that ? I wondered.
